- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Kenneth’s Heating & Air truly started as a family dream. In 2012, Kenneth decided to take his years of experience in the HVAC industry and build a company of his own. At the time, his wife was a stay-at-home mom raising their children, and together they took a leap of faith and began building the business from the ground up. What started as a small family business has grown through hard work, word of mouth, repeat customers, and the support of our local community. More than a decade later, we’re still family-owned and operated and incredibly proud to serve the Central Coast community that helped us grow. 4. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? Our technicians receive professional HVAC training along with continued hands-on education to stay current with today’s heating and cooling systems, diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and installation practices. Kenneth’s Heating & Air is a licensed California HVAC contractor, License #975995. We believe continued training and education are an important part of providing our customers with knowledgeable, safe, and high-quality service. 5. What is your typical process for working with a new customer? 6. What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project? It’s helpful to think about what problems you’ve noticed, when they started, the approximate age of your heating or cooling system, and whether it has had any recent repairs or maintenance. If you’re considering a new system, think about any comfort concerns you have, energy-efficiency goals, and your budget. Most importantly, don’t worry if you don’t know the technical details—that’s what we’re here for. Our job is to evaluate your system, explain what we find clearly, answer your questions, and help you determine the best solution for your home.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One recent project we’re especially proud of was installing two new Carrier Infinity heat pump systems for a homeowner in Templeton, California. Our team upgraded both systems to provide reliable, energy-efficient heating and cooling year-round. We take great pride in installations like this because proper equipment selection and quality installation are just as important as the equipment itself. Our team made sure both systems were properly installed, thoroughly tested, and operating as they should before completing the project.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always make sure you’re hiring a licensed and insured HVAC contractor with a good reputation and proven experience. A trustworthy company should take the time to properly diagnose your system, clearly explain what they find, and discuss your options before any work begins. We also encourage homeowners to look at reviews and ask questions. The lowest price isn’t always the best value when it comes to something as important as your home’s heating and cooling system. Quality workmanship and proper installation can make a significant difference in your system’s performance and longevity.
