- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It's all about reputation. Many companies push very hard to sell you one service or another but never take into consideration your budget or how much you need or value the lost data. Professional data recovery is only one option. Companies like ours offer free advice and free or inexpensive assessment. Assessment fees are usually low if any, low fees discourage customers who wouldn't likely go through with even a small quote from wasting our time and resources and allow us to provide our service for less money than providers with no fee. This is because companies that offer "Free Assessment" and Free Shipping have $100-$300 invested in a case before it is quoted out, many of them have less than 40% acceptance which means your assessment cost plus the cost of one to two declined recoveries all get averaged into the price paid by the customers who approve a quote.
