Carolyn K. says, "I thought Juan Pablo of ProLine was very honest upon first impression and he gave a very clear explanation why my mom’s gutters were overflowing – the lack of proper angling by whoever installed them, plus the original installer had joined several pieces of aluminum together which led to sagging at the joints. Therefore when it rained a lot in short periods, it led to lots of water buildup in specific areas and cascading waterfalls that were damaging the ledges and peeling paint off the house, vs. logical draining at the downspout.
Even though we tried to clean these old gutters, it wasn’t helping due to the issues he pointed out at the estimate. Therefore, we went forward in having ProLine replace the old narrow gutters with wider, newer ones (5”) that are single piece aluminum which he and his team cut to size to run along each side of the house, and they installed corners which are sealed on the inside to prevent leaking, and 8 downspouts so the runoff can now feed my mother’s plants rather than create giant puddles near the home’s foundation. In addition we installed black mesh or “netting” above the gutters so they can catch leaves and other debris and prevent them from falling into the gutters and clogging them.
It’s clear he and his team have a lot of experience with gutter installation, and provide high quality service. They use levels, have proper equipment for cutting aluminum gutters to size, and they performed a clean installation so that the pieces were not creating gaps with the roof, and they were screwed in tightly (I checked). I appreciated their work ethic, courteous and pleasant manner, and cleaned up afterwards. Their estimate was also clear.
I would highly recommend them to any homeowner requiring new gutters or gutter cleaning services."See more
