Introduction: Beginners to advance students are welcome! I teach remotely via Zoom and Skype. We'll work on the guitar basics starting from how to properly hold the instrument, to right and left hand techniques, to simple chord progression and various rhythms and patterns. I'm open to whatever style you'd like to learn: Folk, Blues, Ragtime, South American, Classical, Open Tunings, Improvisation, Irish, Arranging and Composing and more!
For over forty years, I've been giving individual guitar lessons, workshops, masterclasses, and seminars worldwide. I've been teaching, composing and performing internationally for the past 40 years.

It has been some 5+ years that I have had the privilege to be one of Peppino's students. Having laid down my guitar for over 20 years before I met Peppino, I was a little apprehensive to start up again with someone as talented and gifted as Peppino. With an abundance of patience and guidance, Peppino was able to knock some of the rust off my fingers and reawaken my love for the guitar. Peppino has the unique ability to take his students beyond what they thought they were capable of and introduce them to a whole new level of musicianship. He is able to cater his teaching to the needs of each individual student; be they beginner, intermediate, or advanced guitarist. I am truly grateful for all that Peppino has given me so far, and hope to continue under his instruction.

I have known Peppino D'Agostino for 9 years. During this time I have taken finger style lessons from him when our schedules permit. He is very professional yet personable in his teaching. When I make a mistake he corrects me without discouraging me. He is very positive in his teaching and encourages you to improve. He is also very patient with his teaching and can adapt it to any age. Peppino tailors his teaching to your playing level but also gives you a gentle push to try to increase your skills. He is open to teaching you any style of music.

Peppino's mastery of his instrument and his innate lyricism is apparent to anyone who has heard him. Likewise, his personal sweetness is obvious to anyone who has met him or has seen him perform.
But then as a teacher! Well, it is both profitable and a joy to sit at his knee. If he is working with a song one already plays, he may suggest changes of technique or nuances of expression or even variations of licks. If he is teaching a song of his, he shows exactly how to get that sound. All the while making one feel good about oneself. And finally, he seems to love to play with a student, subtly (and I emphasize that word) layering effects around. Really cool to play lead for such a master guitarist!
