After another company said our HVAC was not repairable and estimated between $20-30K for new system we were lucky to get a recommendation from a friend for Boris. He came out with positive attitude and reassurance (and no diagnostic fee!!) and within minutes found the problem. By next morning 7:30 am he already sourced the part and drove over to replace it.When that heater kicked in I was really happy. He also helped me with the best thermostat and checked for flow and monoxide in the vents.He saved us so much money and grief. An honest conscientious contractor is a rarity these days!! Found Guy with search on Thumbtack. He called and explained what he could do and the estimated cost. We made plan. He called today to verify.He showed up on time, parked, got out his tools, was friendly and helpful, and ready to respond.He checked duct on roof and then proceeded to clean the stove duct. Then he cleaned dryer duct.Both were done efficiently at agreed price of $99.We were pleased with the results, and glad to highly recommend Guy

The guys are very nice and did clean dryer air duct for free BUT 1) they scratched the floor all over the place with their equipment. There is no way to repair it now unless I want to refinish the floors. 2) created a lot of dust while vacuuming vents. I had to clean the whole house after the left (every surface was covered with dust) 3) I found tons of debris after I opened the ducts myself just to see how clean they look compare to how they looked before. 4) They spent a little bit more than 1 hour on 10 vents, which after I read other descriptions of jobs should really take more than 4 hours. 5) I am not sure they used the "right" kind of equipment. I looked at the pictures of air duct cleaning equipment afterwards and their equipment does not look the same. It looks like a giant industrial vacuum and a drill. 6) They replaced dryer cover (for free) but just left the pieces of the old one on the ground. I am really not sure about these guys and feel bad about writing a bad review. But after two months after they cleaned the air ducts in my house, I still feel duped.
