I graduated with honors from the Northern Illinois University jazz guitar program, and am well-versed in rock, pop, jazz, heavy metal, blues, folk, funk, and more. It's often a struggle to get my kids to practice, and Tom gives them positive incentives to keep them having fun instead of rigid discipline. He gives them a nice varied repertoire with a mix of skill builders, classics, and fun songs of their choice including Star Wars, Harry Potter, and rock artists like the Beatles and Green Day. We're very happy with how our kids have progressed as musicians under Tom's tutelage."See more
