Namaste Building was created to make home maintenance and new construction a simple and pleasurable experience. I wanted my construction business to carry my spiritual beliefs, and I obtain that by taking the anxiety-inducing experience of needing a construction expert to take care of your home, and making a simple and relaxed experience that offers peace of mind about your dwelling. I’ve been a carpenter and handyman for 6 years and am confident that I can tackle any needed maintenance. No job is too small or too big! I hired this team for a ceiling fan installation, but the project was never completed. Victor was sent by Eric - while nice he was nice and handled small tasks like removing nails and uninstalling lights, the main job didn’t go well. There were delays due to missing equipment (no van or ladder), and poor prep led to wasted time and effort. After 1.5 days and 7 hours, no projects were finished because in the end he wasn’t sure he could do it. While he did performed other tasks - I was still asked to pay for 7 hrs - Then asked to pay the $25 thumbtack referral after the fact - which I didn’t. I was surprised by that request as it wasn’t quoted and the main job not finished. In the end, I hired a licensed electrician who completed the fan install in 2 hours for $100 less — fully equipped and professional. Unfortunately, working with Victor was not a productive experience. Friendly people, but the job was oversold and not executed and I’m out $350.
