Ah'nesha is a super helpful and talented seamstress! My sister and I really enjoy getting sewing lessons from her and have already learned so much. She is easygoing and made everything fun and comfortable. She is a great pick if you are in need of some sewing lessons or if you need anything sewn. Definitely a nice, talented and professional fit! 5 stars all the way with Ah'nesha.

I found Barbara after looking for quite a while for a sewing instructor. She came in and helped me finish some projects that had been languishing and we are now starting some new projects together. She is well spoken, knowledgable and is a patient instructor. She also thinks of innovative and creative solutions. I'm very much enjoying my sessions with her.

Barely ever sewn anything before. But I needed to make a stuffed rhubarb in just under 2 weeks for a college project. I'd been watching the FashionMadeLive Periscope Channel and found that they also offered sewing lessons in my neighborhood! YAY! Kim at FashionMadeLive took me from knowing very very little about fabric to being able to MAKE my quirky project happen! Kim was a patient teacher and the studio was stocked with everything needed to sew and make my project.

Rossanna is amazing at teaching sewing, she is expertly knowledgeable about the subject, and combines that with an understanding of how to teach so she makes it fun and engaging. My daughter has made some dolls, doll outfits and is working on pajamas next. If you or anyone you know is looking to learn about sewing Rossanna is awesome!

I've been working with Melissa for eight years, and I've seen my sewing skills progress from nothing, to upper intermediate, and I feel much more competent than I ever could have believed possible. I took sewing in junior high and hated it, but with Melissa's guidance, and more interesting projects, I'm excited and passionate about sewing. Now I'm making gifts for my entire family for all occasions! Even with advanced projects using vogue patterns, she is always patient and inspiring. Her knowledge of sewing machines is also impressive. I highly recommend her.

Hi. I teach a beginner sewing class for adults on Wednesday nights from 7:00-9:30pm at my home in the Hastings Ranch area of East Pasadena. The cost is $10 per class. You can bring your own machine (which I encourage) or use one of mine. The classes are offered as a program of the nonprofit materials depot which I started called “Remainders”, so we have a lot of materials available or you can bring your own. Check it out at our 'Remainderspas' Facebook page I also teach a kids beginning sewing class on Wednesdays from 4:30 to 6:00pm at the same location for the same price. Thanks for your interest.

In my classes children and adults learn faster than other places. They start sewing in the first class. I make my classes very interesting with new projects every week. Also, I can only take a limited of students per class, so I have plenty of time for each student. Students don't have to pay a fortune for sewing classes, my classes are very economic.
