Bill officiated our wedding on September 6th 2015 at the Wedgewood Wedding and Banquet Center in San Clemente. Bill was personable and flexible before and after the wedding. Because we live in Northern CA we were pretty far from the wedding site as well as from Bill; however, we had a constant communication stream and a couple of opportunities to communicate online via Skype and over the phone. Bill helped us create our vows and customize the ceremony speech by providing us with several samples and his guidance. He also offered to print our vows and have them at the ceremony, which was a great idea, guaranteeing that we would have those available the day of ceremony. During the rehearsal Bill was punctual and very attentive, making sure every detail was well planned. Overall we are very thankful to have had such a professional and personable officiant who customized our ceremony and who was there for us to help us all the way.
I have been to a few weddings and disliked their wedding officiants. I LOVED Jeanie. She gives so many options and is very kind. She made me feel at ease and I would recommend her to anyone getting married!
Loretta is a truly wonderful human being. She captured my husband and I beautifully in her unique ceremony and we were emotional the entire time. She was very receptive to tweaks and changes and her voice is a truly beautiful beacon on such a special day. Our wedding would not have been the same without her and we would choose her 1000x over! Thank you Loretta for our beautiful ceremony.
Jason was punctual, professional and very much into his job as a minister. Even though our wedding had to be postponed Jason did not complain and even offered to help in any way he could. Would recommend.
Phillip is nothing short of professional, knowledgable about the process, easy to work with. His patience and flexibility are outstanding and ever helpful to a couple busy preparing to marry. Thank you for your part in our wedding! ~Christy
"12.13.14" ... The day a dream my partner and I dreamed for many many years had come alive. With the kindest soul, unmeasurable reliability, understanding and very precise consistency; Rev. John did more than officiate our wedding, he made of dream come true. John went above and beyond just to ensure that our day would be the most amazing and unforgettable day of our lives. We so appreciate his ability to completely foster and help execute the ceremony of our dreams; it was perfect, as if John went into our imagination and performed the wedding we'd both desire. But it is in his will to really want to understand the wedding you most desire and do absolutely all that he is able to do in creating it. Everything we'd request, it was either already taken care of by John, or John would very happily make it possible. John stood by our side throughout everything as we planned this day; my fiancé and I faved a few issues with reserving a venue, after opening up this issue with John, he immediately suggested a venue he was familiar with. In no time, John completely resolved our issue--securing us with an absolutely beautiful venue that surpassed our expectations. That's who John is, a very positive, generous, and hardworking individual who caters and treats anything he does with that same endurance, care, and attention as he would if it were his own.
Thank you all my wedding team! They provided me everything I need for a perfect wedding. Joanne and her team know this industry very well and assigned the wedding coordinator, photographer, stylist, venue, DJ to us. They helped me get rid of all time consuming vendor calls!!! Also, they have very stylish app to make everything organized and trackable. Very cool!!! Highly recommend the whole team!!!
We had a beautiful and incredibly fun wedding in Northern California, but our officiant, Brad Sarian, was the by far our favorite part of our wedding. Its easy to get caught up in the wedding planning, vendors, and the day itself, but through premarital meetings and the actual ceremony, Brad pointed my wife and I (and all our guests) to the true purpose of marriage. Brad is a great communicator, very approachable, and relatable, not just to my wife and I, but to everyone in attendance. I highly recommend Brad to be the officiant of your wedding.
Rick Cicetti is a very professional officiate. Our wedding would not have been the same with out him. He helped make our day to be the best day to remember. Rick Cicetti took the time to speak with us in person before our wedding day to review all of our vows and to learn more about our likes and dislikes. He included those into the introduction to our vows and really surpassed our expectations.
Jono married me and my husband in August 2014 and we could not have had a better experience! The pre-martial counseling was awesome... super laid back but very impactful. He gave us tools for a lifetime and some great talking points during our meetings. He made the wedding day very fun and focused on the purpose of us all being there. His message during our ceremony was very personal and perfect for us. I would recommend Jono to any couple looking for a comfortable, warm, and fun environment to talk about their relationship.
Mr. Bernard married us on October 4, 2008 in Freeport, Maine. It was just a few friends in attendance in a local park with a garden
She met with us before the wedding and took the time to know who we were and brought that to the ceremony. She made our day as special as we hoped - The memory of our wedding memory of our wedding will include Vlada and her special spiritual touches.
I was really amazed at how well the wedding ceremony went because we changed some of the material the very last minute. Dr. Bruce was so easy to work with and he has a very warm personality too. Our friends and family loved the ceremony because it seemed so genuine and uplifting. I recommend Dr. Bruce for anyone who wants an incredible ceremony that will live in the hearts of everyone long after the day of vows has ended.
Joshua (a.k.a. Minister Mentrup) was absolutely wonderful. We didn't have a real budget for an officiant, so we were happy when we found how affordable Joshua is, and even happier to find out how AMAZING he is! We wanted someone who understood us and could cater our special requests. He got us right away. We wanted to do a special balloon release during our wedding and he did the research to make it happen for us. He was amazing to work with and did an amazing job at the ceremony. He gave us a template to help us create a ceremony that was right for us. We could not be happier that we chose Joshua and would highly recommend him!
I am a young, ordained, female wedding officiant who also caters to LGBTs. The more adventurous the wedding venue and experience, the better. I love creativity and celebrating commitment and love. I've done weddings with 100s of guests, large wedding parties and simple services in the park with the couple and a witness. I'll also do old-fashioned church weddings. I'm an ordained clergy with a master's in divinity. I am scuba-diving certified. I hike and ride a motorcycle. You name it, and I'm open to it. I can also offer premarital spiritualness/relationship guidance to help you deepen your connection to each other and your spirituality. I have contacts with event planning companies that can help you make your event awe-mazing. You're in control of it all, and I'm adaptable enough to make your event highly formal, playful, romantic, or all of it.
We are here to make your special wedding day magical and beautiful. I work with any budget -- $200.00 and up.
I'm a retired minister who officiates for weddings. While I try to keep the proceedings serious, I do so with a friendly, easygoing demeanor, and the occasional lighthearted remark to keep everyone smiling! I do not do "jokes" or funny costumes or characters. I am also available for funerals/memorial services.
Everything I do is to ensure every detail, desire, and want is met and exceeds the expectation of my clients.
I may look young, but I'm an experienced, educated man who can provide exactly the kind of officiant services that you are looking for at your wedding! Maybe more to the point, I'm a great listener and I'm flexible in how I work (and the rate I ask) and more than anything, it's most important to me to provide you with exactly the services you need in exactly the style and tone of your wedding. I am particularly interested in providing officiant services to those who may have trouble finding someone to perform their wedding ceremony. Whether you are a same-sex couple (or gender non-binary, non-conforming, or fluid!) or just happen to have financial limitations, I can provide the highest quality professional wedding services to you! In California (and all states that recognize ordination from the American Marriage Ministries) I am legally certified to perform marriage ceremonies! Please see my photos for my certification. *** Here is a complete breakdown of the services I offer and pricing! My standard rate is only $250 for all of the services I offer. To reserve my time, I ask for a $150 non-refundable deposit to be paid to me at the time you hire me. The balance of the fee is due the day of the ceremony. In the very unlikely case that I must cancel, I will return your deposit to you. However, if for any reason you must cancel the wedding or decide not to use my services, I don't refund your deposit (of course, in extenuating circumstances, I will make an effort to return as much of it as possible). 1. Performance of a wedding ceremony of your desired length, including readings by me and from loved ones, pre-written vows--or you may provide your own--and any additional rituals you'd like to have as part of your day (for example, blending of sand, handfasting, etc.) I'm very flexible and happy to work with you to give you exactly the ceremony you want! Also, I do not ask any additional fee based on length unless the ceremony is planned to be longer than 30 minutes. (As an additional note to this, I do not change extra if the wedding is photographed or videographed. Both are welcome!) 2. Two 30-minute consultations in advance of the ceremony via skype, phone, or FaceTime (can also be in-person). During these consultations, we'll discuss the type of ceremony you'd like to have--making sure we're on the same page about everything I described above and getting all the details figured out so that your big day is perfect! Some other things we'll discuss include: - What you'd like me to wear. I own a nice suit, but I'm comfortable going casual if you prefer! - The length of your ceremony as well as your desires for the tone of the ceremony. I'll offer two or three ceremony scripts, which we can discuss and adjust together so that you're 100% happy with it! - I'm also a professional writer! For an additional fee (see the bottom of this list), I can write you an entirely original ceremony, including vows. - Specific readings (if any) that you'd like me to do during your ceremony, whether these are pre-written by you or from existing spiritual text or other non-religious texts. I am happy to provide some suggestions! - Hand-in-hand with that, we'll talk about any other acknowledgements you'd like me to make during the ceremony. This might be as simple as thanking specific family members for traveling to your wedding, or it could just be a note on the particular way you'd like me to ask everyone to be seated. - Any additional rituals you'd like to include. Again, I'm happy to provide suggestions! - Finally--we'll confirm the order that you'd like everything to happen during your ceremony. Basically, we'll put together a script that I will work from on the big day! Generally it's safe for me to assume the kiss comes last, but I like to be flexible and make sure everything happens exactly they way you'd like! 3. One ceremony rehearsal of up to one hour. I not only offer my attendance at your rehearsal--I really prefer to be there to smooth out any wrinkles together! If the rehearsal does not happen the same day as the ceremony, I ask a small additional fee of $50. (If the rehearsal lasts more than one hour or requires significant travel, I may ask a larger additional fee, but that would be discussed at the time of hiring.) 4. My attendance at the wedding venue up to two hours prior to the beginning of the ceremony. I'll be there to meet with you, the wedding planner (if you have one), your photographer, and anyone else who may need to coordinate with me on the big day! During this time, we may run a rehearsal, I'll get familiar with PA equipment (I'm sorry, I don't provide my own) and the layout of the venue, I'll answer any last minute questions and we can discuss anything that needs to be changed or adjusted. Basically, I'll just be around to make sure you're not wondering if I'll make it on time and to go over everything one last time so there are no surprises! 5. Introductions and announcements. This one is completely optional, but for no additional fee, I will also provide em-cee services at the top of your reception. Often, couples have their DJ do this, but if you don't have one (and even if you do), I recommend having me do it, because I'll be more familiar with you and your entire wedding party. Generally, this is just the introduction of the wedding party as they enter the reception area--usually by twos, paired up as one bridesmaid and one groomsman, ending with the newly married couple. Usually, I might say something like "...and now ladies and gentlemen, for the first time ever as a married couple..." Whatever you like! 6. If you wish, I am happy to remain in attendance at the reception through dinner. Some couples really like this, others prefer that I go after the ceremony is done. I like to include this though, just in case it's something you'd like, so you know I'm willing to stay and celebrate with you! Similarly, I have been asked in the past if I'll join photographs. If you'd like, this is also something I'm happy to be a part of! 7. I will do all the necessary filing of paperwork with your local government and provide you with copies of that paperwork. You just need to be ready with your marriage licence and I'll do the rest! For additional fees, I offer these special services! +$50 - Rehearsal prior to wedding day (plus travel costs, if necessary) +$50 - Ceremonies planned to be over 30 minutes long. +$100 - I'll write an original ceremony, including vows. +$50 - Each additional 30-minute consultation in advance of the wedding (Again, two 30-minute consultations are included in my basic price). Finally, I also offer a recommendation for a wedding photographer I regularly work with. I recommend her because she's a good friend and an even better photographer. If you choose to go with her for your wedding photographer, not only can you be 100% certain I will be out of that all-important first-kiss shot, you also get my services as her assistant for no additional cost. Normally, a pro photographer such as her will charge extra when they bring a second person to assist, but as I'm already there and available, this is something I'm happy to offer for no additional fee when she and I work together. Let me know at any point if you'd like her information!
