Introduction: I think of myself as a pioneer in my field. I like to do things that have never been done. Classics are great, but new ideas are often the most impressive. Even if that means putting a new twist on an old idea. If it's not beautiful, I won't submit it to my clients. I love working with flowers because they are already stunning on their own. Their texture, smell and color bring such a feeling of luxury. Then I get to enhance that beauty with composition and design.

Mandie did a wonderful job for my wedding, meeting my tight budget and limited instruction on what I wanted. I called her last minute (3weeks before date) and gave her a pretty strict budget. She asked whatever questions she neededed and showed up with amazing bouquets and even brought a little extra for pieces I totally forgot about! My savior on my big day! I would recommend for any budget and any event for sure! Thanks again Mandie!

Mandie is a treasure ! She did all the flowers for my wedding. Bouquets, centerpieces, boutonnieres, and other decorations. She accommodated changes in my budget 4 weeks before the wedding and helped me cut down the cost. The flowers and bouquets she made were beautiful and she even had flowers left at the end that she then made into boutonnieres for the groomsmen. She helped set up the decorations at the civil ceremony location and the reception location and was available all day both days to help out. She even bought the fabric for me to drape and decorate the stairway. She was super responsive, always very friendly and professional and cooperative. Can recommend her highly. Thanks for making the event so pretty with your designs Mandie, you were just awesome!

I would give 6 stars if I could. Mandee was kind, professional, reliable, detail-oriented and an overall amazing vendor and person. I used her for my wedding in Santa Barbara just a few days ago and she made 12 centerpieces, flowers for a chuppah, boutinnieres and organized and created the look of our tables. Each centerpiece was different and a piece of art. She is truly gifted at her job, and is an absolute pleasure to work with. I highly, highly recommend her.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My industry has lots and lots of variables, so my pricing has to be determined by individual cases. However, I'm not into "surprising" my clients with a higher cost than anticipated. During the consultation, I can usually estimate the price. Then after some research, I can give my client an actual price quote before they commit to anything.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I love being on top of the latest trends in my field. I subscribe to a magazine for my industry, as well as watching tutorial videos for fresh, new ideas.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been an artist my whole life and this is an art form that is so much more than 2-dimensional design. Plus, I've always loved making things with my hands and this is a very hands-on field of work.
