My name is Cornell Mctier I have a masters degree in clinical exercise physiology and a bachelors degree in exercise science with a minor in wellness. I created Meta-Fitness in order to provide a place dedicated to bettering our customers. “Self-love is Self-Improvement”. Whether you are an athlete, sedentary worker, you are in the elderly population, recovering post injury, we are the place for you. We provide Personal training,athletic training, HIIT classes, semi-private (couples training, nutrition coaching,fitness assessments, etc!

Best Trainer Ever!
I reached out to Cornell in September of 2022 with a breast cancer diagnosis undergoing radiation. Several years of stressful overworking and an unhealthy lifestyle had led me to this point. I needed help to turn my life around. With great sensitivity, empathy and strength, Cornell expertly helped devise a plan to begin my weight loss journey and steps toward optimal health, integrating exercise & fitness, macronutrients that I track daily on an app which holds me accountable, as well as continuing coaching, support, check-ins to see how you’re feeling/doing, motivational and inspirational talks to help guide me throughout each week. He has a very caring heart, is passionately invested in his clients’s goals and goes the extra steps and does everything he can to help you be successful and reach your fitness & diet goals. After a few months now, I’ve lost 20 lbs, feel stronger, empowered and my diet & nutrition is the best it’s ever been…and still going strong!
I’ve never met anyone like him…and I’ve had numerous trainers throughout my life. I would seriously recommend Cornell to anyone wether it’s a few pounds you want to lose or you need help changing your entire life around…he’s the man to help you! You want him on your team!
I feel very blessed to have him guiding me in my health & fitness journey!

I told Cornell that I want to feel and see changes while preventing injury. He cares about how my body is feeling/ adjusting as I make progress. He is adamant about correct posture/ form and is present during every session!

I’ve been working with Cornell for almost 2 years and I have never had a problem or issue with him contrary to that he’s been very flexible and accommodating due to my line of work and the different hours I work. He’s helped me loose a lot of body fat, tone my body, and most importantly change my health lifestyle in a way very easy to maintain. I highly recommend and have faith in him and his process.

I’ve had such a great experience at Meta-fitness. I started off taking the group classes which definitely kick ass. The owner, Cornell, is really good about including a variety of workouts each time so that nothing is ever boring or mundane. The gym itself is really well equipped and Cornell keeps it super clean. I started doing personal training sessions 4 months ago and since then I’ve lost 16 lbs and 2 inches around my waist and dropped 5% body fat. Cornell is very educated and very passionate about what he does. He’s taught me a lot about tracking micros/macros and calorie intake in order to get the results that I want. I highly recommend!

Working out at Metafitness gave me the tools I needed to be successful in achieving my goals of living a healthy lifestyle. Cornell used his expert knowledge of fitness to whip me into shape and to stay in shape. Plus, he makes it a lot of fun.
