FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Remember that no Dog Trainer or Dog Behaviorist is licensed or regulated (with the exception of training dogs to hunt), so it is important that you personally interview several trainers and watch them work directly with your dog to demonstrate what they represent. Your dog(s) are a significant part of your life, and training is a large investment (both time and money), so it is in your best interest to investigate and find a trainer that you are both comfortable with and who is effective. Dont be afraid to ask pointed questions such as: Do you guarantee your training for the life of my dog? How long have you been training professionally? Do you have experience training other kinds of animals? When my dog misbehaves, what method(s) will you suggest I use? If I dont like a particular method of training, will you adapt your training to fit my and my dogs preferences and needs?
