I chose to work with Alex because he responded promptly, and provided me with an itemized estimate for replacing my backsplash, whereas the other contractors only provided a ballpark estimate. I had a water leak in my house that required me to postpone the start date and he was flexible and worked with me to reschedule. Nothing was square or level in my kitchen, but he did a fabulous job, and everything looks straight and level. He was friendly and reliable, and priced fairly, and I would happily hire him again if the opportunity presents itself.

Alex did an amazing job installing new tile on our fireplace hearth and surround. He was a bit more expensive than other quotes, but his attention to detail and talking me through what his prep process would be before he even laid a single tile is what sold me.
He spent a long time prepping the area to make sure that the tile would have a perfectly plumb and level surface to sit on. The tile is installed meticulously, working with a tricky mosaic tile and even wrapping around a curve on the sides of our fireplace. He was transparent in talking through every step of his process and helping to insure that the layout was exactly what I was hoping for, and I am very particular about details and difficult to please.

One word "fantastic". Alex did an amazing job replacing the tile on my outside porch. The original tile was cracked and we found out not even installed correctly. Alex absolutely pays attention to detail and will do nothing less of perfection. I would 100% recommend that you reach out to Alex if you have a tile project that you want done perfectly, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Alex, I now sit out front on my new beautifully tiled porch :)

There’s great…and then there’s Alexander. We chose a mosaic tile for our full backsplash (we swapped out a granite half splash) and Alexander went the extra mile to make sure the surface was perfect before he began tiling (there was a lot of areas that needed attention). His work was meticulously executed and…huge bonus…he is an absolute pleasure to work with. Alexander is an artiste and a perfectionist…both qualities I admire and value and both of which added that “something extra” to his work product. I highly recommend Alexander for your project. He’s the best!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Please! Do not go with the cheapest bid or hire a unlicensed contractor. The old saying goes, you get what you pay for. Many contractors who offer cheaper estimates may take shortcuts and not follow code to make up for the low cost of the job, which could cost you thousands of dollars more in the end. Do not roll the dice with thousands of dollars, do your research when you hire a contractor.
