Ellie did a fantastic job editing my first book! I am a new author and was unfamiliar with the editing process. It is perfect! I highly recommend Ellie for all of your editing projects. In my opinion, Ellie deserves 10 stars!!

I am writing as a PhD student, who two MA degrees and a fellow in the Writing Program at a Top 20 University. I have experience editing for an interdisciplinary journal, publishing, translated/edit for lawyers and business professionals and PBS, and teaching many courses at the college level. When it came time to find an editor for a project I am very dedicated to and which is theoretically and historically complex, I had a hard time finding someone whose capabilities I trusted, who could provide a quick turn around of my document, and maintain a friend yet professional level of communication. Temi is that person. No, she is not a friend of mine; No, I have not used thumbtack before; No, I dont tend to spend my time writing reviews. Simply put: her work compares to company's that quoted me at literally four times the cost, she has talent, is flexible, and responsible. She is comfortable receiving payment by Paypal or Venmo---amongst other official options. Overall, editing with Temi has been an ideal experience.

I cannot say enough about Thinque Prep and Joyee Lin. He is dedicated to his students success and does a very thorough job of preparing them for the ACT or SAT test. My son, Zack, who is very bright but requires a lot of patience worked with Joyee over the summer and brought his composite ACT score up from 30 to 33. His math score increased a full 4 pts. and he scored a 35 in English. Thinque Prep has other services related to tutoring and college application preparation. Zack will be working with Joyee on his college application essays. Joyee is in California and we are in Texas but this was never an issue as the sessions are done via video chat. The office manager Jen was great to work with and the appointment process was easy to navigate. I found the rates to be very competitive for like services. If there was a way to give extra stars I would!!

Skip is fast, accurate, and even has a sense of humor. I will use him for all of my editing. My book is in the health and wellness genre, and he kept my "voice" but corrected my sentence structure and punctuation.

My daughter is in 3rd grade and is reading in a 2nd grade level. This was my first time hiring a tutor and didn't know what to expect. Rowena offered to tutor at our place which was a plus for me and decided to have her come in 3 times a week for 1 hour. After the 2nd week Rowena laid out an assessment tutoring plan for my daughter. So far I'm very pleased with her work and the best part is my daughter looks forward seeing her.

When working with a professional writer a business has to consider the writer's qualifications. Christopher from Ghost Strategies has a science background(Aeronautical Engineering), is an attorney and has written professionally for over 20 years. Because of this background he is very detailed oriented and is used to meeting deadlines. His science background means that he considers the substantive topic as well as good editing and writing practices in performing any project. He was an asset to my law firm and to my clients over a number of years.

She asked for $4/page. I sent her 25 pages. No money has been exchanged and the edit is not finished. She seemed very pleasant on the phone.

When I needed my Master's thesis edited in 5 days, Elizabeth was able to get it done in 3 days. Once returned, my paper was error list and well written. I will definitely be using her again thanks Liz!

Over 16 years teaching ESL in the United States and teaching English (language arts) at the high school level in the Long Beach/Los Angeles area.

I am a full-service writer and editor. My projects include an award-winning play, Here Lies Dorothy Parker, and the book, Seize the Green Day, that has been entered into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame library.

With both an analytical and creative background, I enthusiastically bring over fifteen years of marketing, communications, new media/video, SEO/SEM, legal, writing, editing, and business consulting experience to every team and project I join. Writing and the arts have captivated me since I was a child, so I feel right at home as a Whittier College English major. Working behind the school's library desk has allowed me to embrace numerous outlets, including my co-workers', to feed this passion. My latest position as an intern for a design public relations company has matured my writing and communication skills because of the ever present need to write, edit and pitch to professionals. Managing, editing and layout designing are skills I have developed as an editor, writer and photographer for the college's Quaker Campus newspaper. On the side, my training as a photographer's assistant under Best Photo Network has honed my eye for quality, balanced works of art, not to mention my skills as a photograph editor. Reading and writing are my roots, making design and photography sprouting branches of special interests that I am always striving to cultivate.

I have 30 years of strong, reliable, and varied professional experience in several fields of project management, successfully writing and editing for such organizations as the American Heart Association, City of Los Angeles, County of Orange, American Cancer Society, CIGNA HealthCare Insurance, and HeartWise Patient Education. I enjoy bringing that same caliber of outstanding service to individuals, students, professors, authors, and business professionals. I have a university degree in Sociology and a postgraduate degree in Community Health Education.

I write, edit, and proofread. I have many years of experience and three degrees in English. I am also a published writer.

I am willing to work long hours, charge reasonable rates, meet deadlines, a dedicated professional and perfectionist. I also do extensive research. I also take on only what I can handle and will place 100% attention to the project at hand.
