Al Gartamaker was my home inspector for an inspection that occurred on 10/01/2025. Al generated a very detailed inspection report (PDF) on my new home and he went over the important details within the report. I would also like to point out that the report was delivered the same day that the inspection occurred so there was no wait to receive the report.Although my home was brand new, I still wanted a professional inspector, to perform the inspection before my final walkthrough of the home. While Al found several items on my home that needed touch-up or minor repairs, he was also very professional by pointing out the things that the builder did right by not cutting corners or using poor quality materials. I definitely recommend Al Gartamaker from Odyssey HomeInspection services.

I had an excellent experience with my home inspector, Al Gartamarker. He was thorough, honest, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. He took his time during the inspection, carefully going over every detail and explaining his findings in a way that was easy to understand. We recently had Al come to our house for an inspection, and I couldnt be happier with the experience. From the moment he arrived, he was polite, friendly, and very respectful of both our property and our time. He worked around our schedule with no problem, and he was very professional.During the inspection, Al shared a lot of useful advice and tips that we wouldnt have thought of ourselves, which showed how knowledgeable and experienced he is. The final report we received was very detailed, easy to understand, and incredibly helpful.Its rare to find someone who is not only excellent at their job but also a pleasure to deal with. We keep things simple. Our mantra is Visibility, disclosure, compliance. We provide our service through transparency and understand the value in doing the right thing. One flat rate, one simple outcome.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we identify the need for the inspection and discuss parties involved. Second we discuss and known areas of concern, desired outcome, and schedule an inspection. Third, the inspection is finalized, we review findings, and what separates us from other inspectors is the network of trusted industry professionals that may help you with a bid to accompany an offer on a house, or a much needed maintenance repair. It’s a very simple process and we are here as a resource long after your inspection is completed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
InterNACHI is the only accredited home inspection certification entity nationwide that is recognized by the US Department Of Education. As a certified company, we are required to complete continuing education credits to maintain our certification. We hold the highest standard!
