Didier Bouvet, Special Events Guitarist

With over 30 years of experience as a performing solo guitarist, Didier Bouvet creates beautiful music for every occasion. His refined and captivating classical and Latin jazz/Spanish guitar style can be tailored to any event. His performances are always accompanied with a warm professional demeanor that is always service oriented. His styles include Latin jazz, classical, nouveau flamenco, and Latin rock (i.e. Santana, when appropriate). He has played for clients, such as Chevron Texaco, Wells Fargo, Hitachi Technologies, Hornblower Yachts, and Excite. A partial list of clients, venues and testimonials are available upon request. Didier's repertoire for wedding ceremonies includes traditional works by Bach, Beethoven, Pachelbel, Mendelssohn, and Handel, as well as classically arranged works of contemporary songs by Enya, the Buena Vista Social Club, Peter White, Santana, Stanley Myers (Cavatina), and others. Given enough advanced notice, Didier offers the added service of learning and performing your favorite song to customize your wedding ceremony. You also have the option of extending his services for your cocktail hour and/or dinner reception, where he will play his one-man-band Latin Jazz and nouveau flamenco repertoire (see special events). Whether it's a sophisticated formal dinner/cocktail affair for 10 or a rollicking outdoor BBQ for 200, Didier tailors the intensity, energy and overall mood of his performances to appropriately fit any festive situation. His portable and battery-charged P.A. system allows him to be set up at any location regardless of whether or not electricity is available. This system is a very smart, all-in-one, high-quality mixer/speaker system that can be charged for up to 5 hours. It can also be used to hook up a microphone for client announcements and speeches.
