We hired Debbie at Rough & Tumble Playland to watch our 3 year old lab, Buster, while we went away for an extended vacation. Buster is a combination companion/service dog, as I have a chronic illness, but the vacation home we rented did not allow pets. I was anxious, never having been away from Buster for so long, but my worries were set aside very quickly the minute I met Debbie and her wonderful dog Bekka. Debbie is a very warm and friendly person who loves animals. Buster took to her and Bekka right away and we spent 40 minutes walking the dogs together and visiting. I felt good about the decision to use Debbie right away. In fact, I cancelled interviews I had with two other potential dog sitters.
During our vacation Debbie and I exchanged calls so that I could keep up with how Buster was doing. She also left messages telling me how his walks and dog park play time was going, as well as how he was eating and sleeping (both great.) The last few days of our vacation I missed him most and was excited to get home, but when my husband picked him up, he didn't seem all that anxious to leave!
I highly recommend Debbie Farrow. She and Bekka will care (and spoil) your pets just the way you do at home. ❤
