I requested a cleaning service with Valgap Cleaning for Sunday to complete a deep cleaning of a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home ( of which we had an agreement per text and was agreed upon time and date.) A gentleman responded to the request, and the cleaning team was scheduled to arrive at 10:00 AM. They arrived at approximately 10:10 AM.
The woman who came to perform the cleaning did not speak English, so I did my best to communicate with her by giving her instructions regarding what I needed to be completed. Because I was already in the process of sorting items and preparing things to take to the dump, I changed the scope of the cleaning and asked her to focus on specific areas rather than completing a full deep cleaning.
I asked her to clean both bathrooms, wipe down the kitchen, and mop the living room and hallway floors. I also specifically instructed her to throw away certain items located on the left side of one of the bathrooms because I had already gone through those items and determined that they needed to be discarded. However, I am not certain whether the items were placed with her belongings when she left, despite my instructions not to take them.
At one point, she remained in the bathroom for approximately 30 minutes, and it appeared that no cleaning was being done during that time. I understand that she and the gentleman may have had a conversation during that period. Throughout the cleaning, I took pictures of the areas after she completed each portion of the home so that I could document the work that was done. (
Overall, I would describe the cleaning as okay, but not excellent. Both of my bathrooms are standard-sized bathrooms and are not particularly large. There were several spots that were missed, and I had to go back and wipe down and clean areas myself after she finished.
The original quote was $220 for a three-bedroom, two-bathroom deep cleaning. Although I paid the $220 as originally quoted, I do not feel that the service I received was worth that amount because the actual work completed was significantly less than what was originally quoted. The service consisted primarily of cleaning the two bathrooms, wiping down the kitchen counters and refrigerator area—which I had already cleaned two days earlier—and mopping the living room and hallway floors. I have the initial contact agreement and pictures.
I thanked her for coming out and appreciated her time. I also offered her water and gloves because she did not have either with her. Hopefully, this feedback will help the company improve its communication, preparation, and quality of service in the future.
Based on my overall experience, however, I do not plan to use this cleaning service again

We want to clarify some points of this review. First of all, we want to highlight the honesty of our worker. During the cleaning he found a check that had been discarded and, instead of keeping it, he gave it to the lady. A person who acts in this way clearly demonstrates his values and his honesty.
That's why we find it unfair to insinuate that our worker took belongings. Much less was he going to take things that the lady herself had indicated that they were to be thrown away.
The contracted and paid service was a deep cleaning. The house was quite messy, with clothes, bags and different objects on the floor. Our worker began to do the work and followed the instructions she received directly from the client.
In addition, the lady specifically told him to leave the garbage bags outside because they would pick them up. Our worker followed that instruction and left the two bags outside, as indicated.
