I had hosted a girlfriends 40th birthday in Malibu and thought it would be a lot easier to have a personal chef come to us than have to find transportation out. I’m so happy I came across The Crain Experience I could not of been happier with my decision. First of all, they were very prompt with responding to all of my questions. Their website has many options to choose from which was probably the hardest decision of all . On the date of the event, Chef Jason and and his assistant Nicc showed up on time and with everything they needed, and got straight to cooking . We started with a large charcuterie board for the group that we all got to graze on while they prepared the dinner. To start we had a garden salad with a delicious dressing. Our main course was filet mignon on top of wasabi mashed potatoes with a side of perfectly cooked asparagus to finish with dessert we had the most delicious banana pudding that everyone loved he even accommodated our gluten-free friend. I could not have been happy with my decision to go with The Crain Experience. I was so happy that we did choose the full catering service because we didn’t have to do anything else like clean a dish or clear the table I’m sure I will be seeing them again, my friends could not have been happier with their meal. Thank you so much for the happy memories and delicious meal.

We had the lovely Chef Denny for my sisters Bachelorette party! I had a chef earlier in the day that had cancelled so I was so stressed to find a new one and Chef Renny really came to the rescue!!

All the food was absolutely fantastic! We hired the Crain Experience for a birthday dinner for 10 people, and the chef was punctual, respectful and made everything delicious. Definitely recommend!

Hosted a holiday dinner party in my home. The chef and her associate were professional and the food was terrific! Everyone delighted with our choice to dine at home instead of a busy restaurant. They prepared our meal and cleaned thereafter leaving us very little to do for cleanup.

Chef Renny prepared the food for my 30th birthday party. Every dish was AMAZING! My guests were throughly impressed, and so was I. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is based on our costs. We offer custom menus starting at $50 per guest and can always create a solution that offers excellence while adhering to budgets.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It typically starts off with a thumbtack quote and then I preferred to move the conversation to a phone call as soon as possible. This allows me the opportunity to get to know the client on a more personal level so that I can better serve their needs. Once we have the details, an invoice is provided along with the contract so that there is a clear expectation of what is expected from both myself and the client and from there on out we hit the ground running.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It started out as a hobby and then I realized I had a love and a passion for it also
