FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
They send the initial inquiry. I view it, and assess their comments. Then I reach out to them, and ask for a phone meeting so I can ask detailed nuanced questions about finishes, installation accessibility, and rough square footage. All those things give me a solid base to provide a preliminary quote.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My family has always been involved in building. I have a degree in Public Works Building Inspections and Management. Was a plumbing estimator for 3 years. Was a full time framer for 3 years. I studied all most of the trades to have a well rounded knowledge that I can apply to my projects. Always comes in handy and sometimes a woodworker need to account for other trades on a job site.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My grandfather, and father both did woodworking, and had shops. So I was lucky enough to grow up around it.
