Everything went great when I went to see Data Recovery Man. They gave me a free evaluation and the next day Simon called me and told me that all my data can be saved. I received my data today and all my 10 years of pictures have been recovered, very happy and thankful to their expertise and professionalism. Hopefully I will not need this again but for anyone else I know I will recommend.

I would have to say that Mr. Partridge was so great in the recovery of our data. I would use his service again if need be (let's hope it doesn't come to that).

Simon was great from start to finish. My wifes lap top was a mess to begin with then the hardrive crashed. Simon was able to recover everything including all of our pictures. Thanks for rescuing our data Simon!

I guess you don't realize how truly valuable your data is until you are in threat of losing it. I recently went to Cambodia, an opportunity that doesn't come too often in life, and saved all of my footage onto my external hard drive. Only to have it fail on me the last day when I tried to retrieve it. Thank the Universe, The Data Recovery Man saved the day! I took it to Simon, he did an estimate beforehand, letting me know exactly what to expect. The rates are very reasonable for the valuable service they provide. Simon was extremely responsive, talked me through the whole process, answered all my questions immediately, and informed me every step of the way. They relieved the stress and fear (of losing my valuable data) and best of all, recovered all of my information at a reasonable cost. They have my unqualified recommendation.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes for drives up to 1TB its Level one $199, Level two its up to $450, Level three $990. An evaluation of the media would indicate the level of service needed. More details can be found on our website.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
10 years + as a recovery professional working as the owner operator of OCDR and now CEO of Data Recovery Man. To perform data recovery successfully you need the right equipment and plenty of years working with hard drives.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Started when I was 14 and received a ZX Sinclair Spectrum computer from my parents. It had a whopping 16k of memory
What types of customers have you worked with?
Most common are individuals who are looking for personal data (pictures, documents, music etc.) however we recover data for Fortune 500 companies and individuals alike. The same low fixed rates apply to all.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
So many to think of...recovered a large amount of original pictures for a well known OC university. Actually their entire history was on these drives and could have been destroyed but we managed to recover all the data.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
In understanding that failed hard drives have different levels of failure often to give a final price without first looking at the equipment is not possible. At DRM an evaluation of the drive is free and has no obligation to move forward. Beware of companies offering "Starting at" rates.
