Jerry Olson is a terrific drum instructor. My son has been with him for over a year now and I have seen significant improvement in his ability and skill level. My son was with another instructor but we needed to move closer to the house. I was reluctant to do this and also dreading to hire a new drum instructor but I have been very pleased with Jerry Olson and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn themselves or put their children to learn this great musical instrument. Jerry is very trust worthy and above all very patient. He offers many years of experience in all types of music and you will not be disappointed with his teaching. He is open to feedback and wants to hear from you as well to insure that he is giving you satisfactory knowledge and that you are growing your skills. Thank you Jerry for your great work and assisting in the growth of our sons musical talent.

Jerry Olson is an excellent drum teacher and knows his stuff after his many years of experience and skill. Jerry has patience and is careful to make sure the correct foundational techniques are achieved---holding the sticks right, hand positions, rudiments, and so forth. Also Jerry is a nice man with a warm personality, which makes you very comfortable in his studio. He is awesome in my opinion.

Ive been taking drum classes with jerry since the age of 13 he has taught me very many things about the drumming business and music as a whole if you can stop by downey music and check him out

I have been taking my son for drum lessons with Jerry for over 14 years. His knowledge and patience are amazing. He is now at a professional level and just gets better with Jerrys teaching. My younger son also has been there for 2 years and looks forward to learning new beats and becoming as good as his brother.
