Working with Lisa has been one of the best steps I have taken to improve my art skills. Lisa excels and providing specific and actionable advice on what to do to improve an art piece. She has a strong ability to pin point the problem areas, which provides a great way to learn and to improve each piece as it is underway. Lisa Taylor helped me with my Plein Air technique. I was having a problem just starting it. With her help and patience I was able to not only begin properly, I was actually able to finish the painting in just a few short hours. I was very satified with the end result. Her patience along with her knowledge of different technics was extremely helpful. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Instruction is hourly and dependent upon the number of individuals. Illustration is fixed. Quotes are case-by-case basis depending on the needs of the client.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually like to meet and greet with a client before beginning lessons. This allows me to gauge expectations and level and explain what is involved in the classes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters in Fine Art, with an emphasis in Painting and Drawing. I provide instruction on both the private and college levels and have gallery representation.
