We hosted a dinner party at our rented AirBnB in Berkeley for visiting family and some of our son’s friends! The dinner was a celebration for our son’s graduation from Cal Berkeley. Since we live on the east coast and had not seen the house, we had to coordinate between the house owners and Liberation Catering. We also had a couple of folks with severe gluten intolerance. Liberation did an excellent job and created a lovely menu that was appropriate to the crowd but also elegant. We had a lovely variety, good quality and generous portions. Dennis was flexible and responsive and our staff - Rich and Norma - were lovely and did a great job! The entire experience was excellent and - in the midst of managing many other people and events - it was a comfort to be able to count on Liberation to plan and execute a wonderful event for us. My husband and I got to enjoy the evening as much as the rest of our guests! I would absolutely recommend Liberation and would work with them again.

Tasty food and friendly staff! Booked Liberation Foods to cater the appetizers and buffet-style meal for my May 2025 wedding. Conducted a tasting prior to booking which was helpful to identify menu items. Also liked that tasting fee was credited to overall bill. Due to venue constraints, opted to have food dropped off the day of the event in lieu of prepared onsite. When there was a mix-up with one of the sides, catering staff quickly returned back to the venue with the correct item. Would definitely recommend for your catering needs and I will definitely book with them in the future!

Juan and his team catered a corporate reception for me. The food was delicious. They arrived on time, were efficient with set up, gracious and professional aervong, ans left my kitchen clean. The empanadas, ceviche and lobster roles were especially good and I received many compliments on the food and service. I’ll definitely use Miranda catering again.
