Introduction: Board and Train Spots available starting: March 1st, 2024. We love dogs and would love the opportunity to train your pup and turn them into a trained and well-mannered pup! We are fully insured and you can be at ease leaving your pup with us! We take great pride in keeping your pup safe! Here are my prices and some explanation of the two options: I know it’s long but it summarizes everything you need to know. For Board and Train: Our full ultimate puppy package is a 6 week program which costs $4500. This valuable time allows us to build the pups foundation from start to finish. This program will teach your pup to sit, stay, come, heel, heel from a distance, place, be kennel-trained, no bark, no bite, no whine, and will be potty trained. Every pup learns differently and some will excel more than others; but, the pup will learn a high degree of each command/manner and should generally know what to do. If the pup is not progressing, we will notify owner as soon as possible; most likely after the initial two weeks. After one to two weeks, the pup will know most of the commands and house rules but have lots of difficulty remembering them all. After three weeks, the pup is well trained in come, stay, heel, place, sit, sit and stay, heel from a distance, come from a distance, no barking, no jumping, no growling, sitting before doors, all house rules, be potty trained, etc. Between 4-6 weeks, we are able to put this training to use and start socializing the pup. We will take your dog to the dog parks, stores, restaurants, walks/hikes, and lots of other social environments. We will also work on perfecting the commands/manners and quickening response times. I can spend dedicated time to your pup throughout the day and make sure that all of the puppy training foundation is solid. Training is my 24/7 job and I will make sure your pup is trained and well looked after them like mine; who is also very well trained and leads a great example. All training responsibility falls on the trainer. Up to owner to maintain training after dog is trained and has met the expectations. The owner has the option to meet at the end of every week after the second week to meet with pup, learn how to train and correct the dog, as well as set goals and expectations going forward. For Private Train: I charge $100 per private training hour or 6 sessions for $500. I have a facility in Elk Grove, California. I charge a dollar per mile from facility if you would like to arrange me to come to you. I can work on specific things that you want me to address but I like to start the first session with introducing myself and the prong collar. Going on a walk with the collar, etc. Then I will teach sit and stay. Next lesson, come. Then heel, then next sessions heel from a distance, come, then socialization, etc. Each lesson builds on your dogs foundation but doesn’t necessarily mean your dog is going to be perfectly trained. It’s up to the owner to maintain the rules and expectations of the pup throughout the week and all lessons overall to see a good progression. I will teach the dog come, stay, heel, place, sit, sit and stay, heel from a distance, come, no barking, no jumping, no growling, and work towards a trained and well mannered pup. A lot of this responsibility goes on the owner though to maintain the training and help the dog learn through repetition. This training is more for me to teach the pup how to do it and teach the owner how to do the command properly/correct and then have the owner continue the training daily. I suggest 12 training sessions in order to show you and your dog all of the commands and manners needed for a well trained and mannered pup. A lot of training responsibility falls on the owner. Notice: We require prong collars for all training programs. E-collars are optional for 6 week board and train programs for off-leash training.
