My wife and I moved in to our hose and we knew we had to do a lot of work. But when it came to redoing the back yard we realized we could  do it ourselves and so we prepared to sweat and save a tone of money.  We saw a couple of do it your selfers friends that were even more gung ho than us and then realized we'd rather have it look professional than have a tone of money and a never ending refix it project that would make HGTV make it seem like building the pyramids was for beginners.  Surgery, Security, and Concrete is something best left to the professionals. Who does not want clean smooth work or would you like to rent out your back yard as a skateboard park. Some things are obvious and almost insulting to mention. Good price and Good work.  Let's face it you ask for a bid and you have no shortage of offers. Like an actual job interview for yourself you want to know you can work with that person not necessarily like them. With Jose we found both. Jose genuinely wants to do good work, and in the end he has to stick his name on it and you have to live with it. He only suggested when we were making mistakes and only offered when we ran out of ideas. I can bore you with details but all of our friends can and have summed up all the details on our last party in to a big WOW. We have a back yard that someone who would have spent nearly twice as much. The biggest mistake would have been to have gone cheaper second only to have gone with a big company and spent the next 2 years paying it off. Thanks Jose ! Roberto and Daiva

After trying to get quotes Robert Lindstrom Nationwide Secure Inc. was the only company to contact me back promptly (I contacted 3 other construction companies none of which called back!) He was very patient with us as our schedules constantly change. Provided excellent expertise on what needed to be fixed. Even waited for a while before was let onto the property. Have not yet booked anything to be repaired but good business begins with excellent "customer service." Because of that will definitely consider for other work we need to get done for commercial office and home repairs.

My project was a complete renovation of a 1972 built condo. The unit was completely stripped down to the concrete walls, floors and ceilings. All internal partitions were removed. The original floor plan had the access to the small bathroom through the bedroom. The new layout now has a hallway to a large and yes "fabulous" bathroom. The toilet was relocated by the use of a Kohler in wall tank toilet which I really like. Not only does it have separate pee and poo buttons, but the bowl is wall mounted.... no more nasty cleaning around hard to reach floor mounted regular toilets. The kitchen is completely new and was redesigned to take advantage of the space and now feels huge. Since the ceiling is concrete, there were no ceiling lights or ceiling fans. In a non-airconditioned building, ceiling fans make it so nice. The ceilings were furred down about 1 1/2" to incorporate the wiring and and the fan junction boxes. The lights are LED Philips surface mount lights. It looks like there are canned lights (all dimmable) but fit into the 1 1/2" furr down. All of the construction was done with permits from the City of San Diego and Cherl included the condo association on her insurance to make sure that everyone was protected. The cork floors look amazing. Not only are they eco friendly, I'm sure my downstairs neighbor is thrilled too. The sliders were replaced on the balcony so that they stack and open to a huge, connected feeling that makes the condo feel much bigger. The project started June 28th and was completed September 25th. Less that 4 months from stripdown to completion. Considering the difficulties of dealing with high-rise construction and the HOA, Cherl did a great job. Fabulous in both our words!!

My experience with Jordan Box, he is quick to respond, honest, gives realistic estimates based on work to be preformed, knowledgable, professional, and resourcesful. Based on our initial conversation about my project I decided to hire Jordan because it is apparent that he takes great pride in his work and will treat your project as if he was building it at his own home. I am happy I hired Jordan to do my bathroom remodel and looking forward to the next project with him as soon as this project is complete.

We had Coggins Construction install crown molding in our home. Patrick was very professional throughout the entire process and satisfactorily completed the project under the initial price quote, which was already extemely reasonable. He actually listened to what we wanted and was respectful of our house-things that previous contractors neglected. We would recommend Patrick's services to anyone.

I was very happy with the completed landscape project. Bill Sullivan sent 2 extremely good workers who removed a giant yucca plant, added to an existing wall while finishing it with stucco and a flagstone cap, as well as created a beautiful border between the sidewalk and the front yard with attractive-looking pavers. The price was fair and the quality, as well as the aesthetic of the finished work was excellent. I do think Mr. Sullivan knows his construction business, but he is not as responsive or really good at communication as I would have preferred. All in all though, if you are patient and flexible, the work was done very well.

It's been an absolute pleasure to have Kory work on several projects in my home. He's got solid design/architecture credentials from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, and so he's got a great vision for projects, large and small. Very talented on the build/construction side of things, too, so a nice balance. Upbeat, friendly, fair and stands by his work.

After a phone chat, I sent Mr. Duin an e-mail outlining the projects I had in mind. I asked him to help me select those that fit into my quarterly budgets. Together we selected three that needed attention this winter. 1. stabilize a wobbly 6 foot block (gate) wall that was inches from a gas main, 2. Build a short block wall that would hold back dirt from a muddy embankment, 3. Reinforce a swaying wood fence and wrap metal posts with cedar – box style. Mr. Duin and staff did an outstanding job of listening to my needs. I was impressed with their work, quality of materials, work ethics and attention to detail. They were very pleasant to work with and I look forward to our next round of projects. I hope to include the trim/molding (with up lighting) along the ceiling of my front porch which will have to wait until early Spring – due to budget considerations.

Remcon remodeled 2 bathrooms in our home and Ronen was great to work with. We remodeled the 1st bathroom in Jan 2015 and it looked great. A few different companies provided quotes but Remcon's price was right in the middle and their outline of the project matched what we were looking for. Our family and friends really liked the change and we told them all about Remcon and how easy it was to work with them. They were flexible with our schedule and had great communication through calls, emails, and text. After about 6 months of using the 1st bathroom and it remaining in great condition, we called Remcon back to remodel our 2nd bathroom, which also turned out great. We really liked working with this company and we'll keep them in mind for future projects.

I'm a home owner in chula vista and I had a car port that I had enclosed and tried to build a room for myself (mancave). Not knowing I needed a permit at the time, the licensed contractor doing the work failed to tell me and one of my neighbors decided to report me to the city of chula vista. Long story short I have to turn my room into a garage. The first thing I needed was blueprints. I called around and got a number of estimates. I found Balance Dynamic Design on google. Talked to Matt I still thought his price was high but he was cheaper than the other people I called. It took 3 submittal's and a meeting that Matt had to come to the city of chula vista and meet with the code enforcement officer on my case and the checker of the plans. We finally were all on the same page and I got my building permit after the 3rd submittal. Matt always tried to save me money by helping me not have to get an engineer. He only charged me one time after the first prints were ready. He went back 2 more times and made the correct changes to the blueprints with no extra charge. I highly recommend Balance Dynamic Design if you need blueprints. Matt is professional and he knows his profession very well.

Kyle and his team did an amazing job building an enclosed patio and patio cover. He was extremely thorough and detailed to ensure that the project was completed exactly how we envisioned it and exceeded our expectations. He also helped identify contractors for specialty parts of the project such as roofing and stucco that met his expectations and ours. I would use him again for any project in the future! KSH is by far the best general contractor I have had at my home and would recommend them to anyone that is looking for an excellent contractor.

I needed a drawing of an existing deck to submit to the building department the next day. I sent Lisa the drawings and specs for the deck on Monday late afternoon. She sent me her completed drawings at 8 am on Tuesday! Less than 24 hour turn around. The drawings are complete with no mistakes. She is an absolute angel. Didn't even charge me a rush fee. Thank you Lisa!
