I partnered with Nobel Real Estate Services two years ago and have not regretted a single moment. I interviewed several property managers in preparation for my first experience as a landlord. I was anxious about finding good tenants QUICKLY. I also wanted to work with a property manager who didn't cut corners. I selected Dennis Rosen because of his professional integrity and experience. Dennis communicates clearly and professionally, he is responsive and punctual, and he is service-oriented (for both tenant and landlord). For example, he explained the overall process and how Nobel ensures funds are deposited prior to the first of each month. (My anxiety started to subside.) But more importantly, Dennis shared his experience, insights, and words of wisdom. He explained various warranty and service options for the appliances washer/dryer/refrigerator/microwave/etc. as part of the rental agreement. I also remember Dennis saying that there is always a "settle in period" when tenants may have a flurry of requests. Sure enough, he was right. The tenants communicated primarily with Dennis and he was prompt and responsive in communicating with me and addressing their requests/issues. (Anxiety dropped again.) Overall, I have had a very positive experience. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Dennis Rosen and Nobel Prop Mgt.

    If you could "design" and "build" the most perfect Real Estate Agent, what qualities and characteristics would you include? What type of finished product would this agent be? Would you be extremely happy with the results that were produced? If you were, then you have just "built" Robyn Webb. Robyn is honest, experienced and knowledgeable about the demographics of your target area. You may not want to hear what she says about your house, but for us she was 99.9% spot on. Robyn entered the picture with her design expertise and following her advice on remodeling a few areas in our home, we were able to sell our house in 3 days at a higher price than expected. Robyn was able to accomplish this because of her work ethic and negotiating skills. Robyn and her team are the absolute best to have working for you.       I had come to a point in time where it was time for me to make the move and begin my search for a house that would be the beginning of my real estate future. I was nervous, cautious and had no idea what I wanted. In order to make an informed decision, I wanted to find somebody who I could work with that would work with me. I found Jennifer through word of mouth and decided to contact her as she already had a great reputation for her sincerity and professionalism in her work. As soon as we met, we hit it off.       This group is by far the best real estate team I have ever worked with, keep in mind I used to be a real estate agent for 5 years. If you try to save a percent or two by going to a discount broker or doing this on your own you will pay the price in the end. I met Matt randomly at an open house and got along with him from the start. I worked with Matt Sorensen directly on my purchase and listing. He is a true professional that is responsive and trustworthy. He was able to communicate negotiate and perform at a level I didn’t think was possible.         What's the difference between a real estate broker and an agent?

        Real estate agents and real estate brokers both help clients buy, sell, and rent residential and commercial properties. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, real estate brokers are licensed to manage their own real estate businesses. Real estate agents cannot have their own real estate office and must work under a broker. Real estate brokers often have real estate firms and employ real estate agents. Reading reviews will help you weed out obvious bad operators; you want to work with someone who treats their clients with fairness and respect. That said, you also want someone who can play hardball and maximize your real estate deal. Ask for references from recent clients, and be sure to call them.

        Experts encourage you to interview more than one prospective real estate agent before hiring. A home sale or home purchase is a big deal — sometimes the biggest deal in a person’s life — and you want to find an agent who will work hard for you.         What do real estate agents charge?

        Real estate agents typically don’t charge a set rate to their clients, but rather earn a commission on the price of the final home sale. In traditional real estate, there is a buyer’s agent and a seller’s agent. The two agents receive 5 percent to 6 percent of the final home sale price and split it evenly, meaning they each earn roughly 2.5 percent to 3 percent of the total home sale. If you are a home seller, you may have fees associated with the sale that are above and beyond the commission the agents earn. The real estate agent may have you pay marketing fees, MLS fees, early cancellation fees, or more. Always ask pricing details before signing a contract so you clearly understand your financial obligations. Here are some of the average (and common) costs that can arise when selling a home:

        • Home inspection: $200-$350 or more, depending on region.
