I have been searching for someone i could trust who could make my daughters unicorn cake for her first birthday (im a very picky person). I was going to do a little photoshoot of my daughter smashing the cake. Im so happy i found Millie she went above and beyond to make sure she knew exactly want i wanted on the cake. It was all a last minute thing and im happy she was able to make it for me, she delivered the cake to me and the minute i saw the cake i knew i finally found someone who can make all my future cakes and pastries. I already booked her again for my daughters birthday party this coming Saturday. Thank you Millie and her assistant !!
I highly recommend Chef Renee and the Luscious Bites team for all your catering needs. We recently had our Annual Corporate Sales Meeting and had multiple Sales Reps visiting California for the week. After weeks of planning and setting up a few evening events to entertain our Reps, we found out 5 days before one of the events that the original plan was no longer going to work. In a last-minute mad dash to throw together a themed dinner party we asked around for recommendations and the moment I spoke with Jessica and received the menu I knew I found the right company. Best decision we made was to hire them. Chef Renee and her team made everything so streamlined and simple on our end. We literally picked the food and they handled everything else. From set up to break down to clean up, we did NOTHING!!! Which was a nice change since we usually do EVERYTHING. Not only did they accommodate us with regards to our time sensitive needs, They also were great at helping us choose the best menu to fit our Polynesian theme. Their pricing was more than reasonable esp. for all she and her team did to provide such a great atmosphere with such great food. AND THE FOOD IS GREAT, phenomenal is even a better word to describe the choices for our dinner party. We took all the reps to the Cayman Islands one year for this meeting and can you believe I got more compliments and rave reviews about our Laguna Beach event then I did about being on an ISLAND. It is all attributed to Chef Renee's food and her team's service. All in all, the event went off without a hitch. Thanks so much again to Chef Renee and her team. Jennifer was a consummate professional. She arrived on time each day with a smile and ready to teach 3 wonderfully spirited young girls. She had patience and showed kindness to the girls and taught them how to bake very difficult pastries and a cake that you would find in a professional bake shop or patisserie. We were very pleased and would use Jennifer again.
I worked with Chef Francoise Brana in Croatia on a 45m Motor Yacht for a good part of the summer season. When she arrived, I was very pleased to see offhand that she was going to be a pleasure to work with. She was friendly, open and conducted herself in a very pleasant and professional way. Being the Chief Stewardess, it is so important to have a close working relationship with the chef and since I have worked with many that have not so agreeable, I really appreciated everything about Chef Brana as I got to know her over the season. She is kind and caring and always made sure each crew member was happy with the food they were presented with. We had a number of different nationalities on board and a few with dietary specifications - a vegetarian, a crew member with a sensitive stomach, myself with wheat, gluten and diary sensitivities and then the others with their own likes and dislikes and ways of eating. Chef Brana always made sure each person had something that they could eat and enjoy and have enough energy to perform the daily tasks at hand. I am predominantly a vegetarian and really appreciated the delicious, nutritious, creative and healthy vegetarian food prepared by Chef Brana on a daily basis. The meat eaters would happily eat their selection dishes and could not wait to climb into her vegetarian selection as well since it was such good food and complimented the meat perfectly. She uses her knowledge of health and the importance of good nutrition and a balanced diet to create meals for those who do not eat meat, enabling them to have the same energy levels and infact an even healthier life style. She is an absolute pleasure to be around, always made me smile and laugh and I would highly recommend her first and foremost as a highly capable chef and secondly a wonderful person and employee/co-worker. Chef Marckende was amazing! He came up with an incredibly creative menu (all vegan/vegetarian) with dumplings, potstickers, ramen, and an amazing chocolate, strawberry, blueberry layer cake. He was very responsive in the planning process, even coordinating the on-site setup/visit the night before because we were celebrating a birthday with a group of friends at an AirBnb. Couldn't have imagined a better dining experience for celebrating a birthday with the group of 11. He was very professional, came with all of the necessary supplies, took care of service and clean-up. If you're looking to choose a chef for an event, you're missing out if you don't choose Chef Marckende. He'll create a memorable meal and take care of all the details so you don't have to even think about doing anything else other than enjoying a great meal with great company.
For the last 3 years, Chef Monterey has been a constant fixture at our events. Her food is absolutely top-notch, and she always comes up with just the right dishes for each dinner! We've done everything from a Western-themed birthday party with authentic BBQ to a classy Old Hollywood New Year's Eve where she served an eight (!!!) course tasting menu, and her food just knocks it out of the park. Chef Monterey is most definitely in our top 3 private chefs in Southern California (and we've gone through A LOT), and if you want absolutely AMAZING food made by a dynamic young chef with a personality to match, she's your girl!
Ellena is a joy to work with. I had the pleasure of taking a number of cooking lessons in my home with Ellena who was a patient and encouraging teacher as I learned new recipes and cooking techniques. She is a creative, knowledgeable and experienced chef who also catered a delicious dinner party for our family's summer reunion. She is a consummate professional yet friendly and hospitable and someone I would highly recommend.

We hired Brian to cook for a group of 22 for our friends 30th B'day party. Leading up to the event, communication was fantastic - Brian was responsive, communicative, and flexible with regard to logistics, menu selection, etc. He was happy to accommodate our requests, but able to offer informed, thoughtful recommendations in areas where we deferred to him, which we really appreciated since this was our first time hiring a chef for an event. During the party Brian and his assistant were efficient and competent - everything ran ahead-of-schedule, and the food was fantastic! All our guests have asked for his card to hire him for their special events, and we look forward to having Brian cook for us again!
