FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly learning new techniques for website design, general IT work, and also event planning. I subscribe to multiple online educational resources for these fields, and also gain a lot of hands-on experience from the work I do.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I designed and developed by first website in 1998--I was in fourth grade. I was self-taught, and was just enjoying exploring the internet on what was then a 56kb dial-up modem. Since 1998, I have been designing websites for personal and commercial purposes for over a 100+ total clients ranging from individuals to small mom & pop businesses to international non-profit organizations. I love what I do, and I love interacting with people.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Building websites, IT consultations, and event planning are the three most common tasks I do. I know they may not sound like they all relate to each other, but I promise you that the skills are interchangeable in one way or another. Take event planning for example -- always helpful to have a web/graphic designer to help put together a unified theme for your event's website, invitations, and other print materials.
