James did an excellent job building out a Rogue squat rack and bench for my garage gym. He was responsive, gave my a very reasonable estimate, went above and beyond in setting up all the equipment, and completed all the work and cleanup extremely quickly. There should be complete clarity in what you pay. That is why I offer upfront pricing on all the services I provide. My Thumbtack profile offers a convenient way of discovering the cost of services and if a particular project you have in mind is not listed I will gladly give you a quote.
There are no hidden fees in the prices I offer. The price quoted is the price you pay and if you add services I will always inform you of price changes.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A customer can contact me through the Thumbtack app or on my mobile phone with a particular assembly or installation need that they have. I reply to a Thumbtack request with a message that usually includes pricing, payment options, and other details as well as a way to make a booking for my services. Sometimes additional information is needed to provide those details and I will ask you questions about your project so I can better provide pricing and job completion details.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The assembly and installation expertise that I provide comes from over nine years of working in providing home services in my personal business and in working for a 3rd Party Moving Service as a technician. I have done everything from TV mounting to appliance installation to fitness equipment assembly and fan and lighting installation.
