THERES STILL GOOD PLUMBERS OUT THERE. Thumbtack was our last resort, we tried plumbers from Yelp and google (mostly scammers trying to charge 2x the price. At the prices they charge it makes me feel like their reviews were paid for) We gather bids from about 5-6 different companies and Shane from so-cal 1 plumbing gave us one of the two lowest estimates. Two plumbers gave us fair estimates that was 10k difference from the scammers. We decided to go with Shane, as he was transparent throughout the transaction and after talking to him in person I felt he could be trusted and I’m glad we went with him because he was worthy of our trust in the end, delivering quality value work without price gouging a new home owner. If you’re reading this hire them, I did the vetting work for y’all already, but still I suggest gather bids from other companies yourself.
