FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I read a book on hypnosis when I was a teenager. I became fascinated with how the brain works. Everything in this book made perfect sense to me. Instantly, I started hypnotizing my brothers and sisters. Eventually, I began hypnotizing friends and as one thing led to another it became a business. Today, after reading many, many books on the subject, I still love what I do and I am probably more facinated with it now than I was 40 years ago.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Experience is always a good way of finding the right person to work with in hypnotherapy, but it's not the only thing. I would also interview the therapist to find out what their strong points are and lastly you must have trust in his/her ability. See how you feel in their presence - if the chemistry between you and your therapist is positive, go for it.
