Hired mobile fitness group to teach a one-hour yoga class on the beach to our group of women in town for a weekend. It was really wonderful. Teacher was very thoughtful, energetic and fun. Highly recommend!
Excellent yoga class, very informative. Very pleased with how she instructed the group of 15+. Her sequence of yoga poses and stretches was exactly what we needed and asked for. Will definitely work with her again, highly recommend purefit yoga!

Deirdre is an amazing yoga instuctor!! Her classes are organized perfectly, in an organic flowing movement of poses, the difficult intersperced with more relaxing, and with constant attention to breathing. The total experience is much more than a great work out: it is so deeply and profoundly, therapuetically, relaxing. Yoga with Deirdre even melts old wounds and stress trapped in the body: really an amazing experience!!! Its FUN too because Deirdre's approach is so fun!! I recommend Deirdre very highly!!!!
Describe the job What did Stephanie Horsley help you with? Where was the job? How long did it take? I took Yoga instruction from Stephanie at her Yoga studio. She was most helpful in showing me not only the correct way to do each posture but how much more important it is to connect with ones inner being. While practicing yoga. Yoga is not a matter of time. It is up to the student the number of classes they want to take. Say what went well What impressed you about the service? Did Stephanie Horsley go above and beyond? Was Stephanie Horsley on time? How was the quality of the work? Most yoga classes I have attended emphasize more on the physical. Stephanie talks throughout her class. Describing each each pose, what the pose represents, how it works in the body, how the spiritual aspect of each pose affects healing in the body. Yes she goes above anf d beyond in all areas of her life. She is very punctual. In comparison to other classes I have taken the quality of her work is amazing. The quality of her work is Pristine. Point out what could have been better What would have improved your experience? What went wrong, if anything? How could Stephanie Horsley do better in the future? By more effort on my part to deeply listen to her as she was describing each pose. Nothing went wrong. I am not a master Yoga instructor so I have no comment here.
Rene is the best! She's confident in her work and really pays attention to how pilates can work for you. She's very caring, very sweet, and responsive to your needs and questions! I have a background in dance, acrobatics, and yoga, and after having taken pilates only twice I have gained much more body awareness with her privates! Definitely worth it.
I have taken a number of classes with Kelly, and walked away from each session with clarity, calmness, lightness, and overall improved state of well-being. Kelly is thoughtful and purposeful in her flows and sequences, and has one of the most calming presences I have ever experienced. Her love for the practice of yoga is evident, and she is passionate about assisting people in their own journeys as well. Her classes have a positive and happy atmosphere, and I always look forward to furthering my practice under her guidance. Kelly is a bright light in the world, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have been able to practice with her.

I started yoga lessons with Adam because my blood pressure was elevated. I had read on his website that Raja yoga could be beneficial for lowering b/p and it was. For almost a year now I have been using the customized practice Adam developed for me. While I have attempted other types of yoga for over 15 years I never stayed with a practice because the postures were too painful. In addition to my blood pressure returning to normal I experience a deeper connection to my body.

When I first met Ally, I thought I was in very good shape. I thought I would never hire a trainer. And, I didn’t realize that I just met an extraordinary special individual in all ways. I grew up playing multiple team sports, spent countless hours in the gym, participated in many long distance races, and followed several online training regiments, including P90X to Bodybuilding.com. And, I never saw the need to spend money on a trainer. After Ally very politely pointed out that I could improve results by adjusting my form with a particular exercise while watching me work out alone at the gym, she had my attention. She had it; because I wasn’t achieving the results I wanted, was working out with self-induced injuries and was losing my desire to go to the gym. So, I decided to give her a shot. After asking, listening and probing to find out what my goals were, we got to work. In our first session she promptly told me that my form was horrible and that my core needed a LOT of work; which was when she informed me ever so humbly that she used to be a fitness competitor. It was then that I decided I’m all in and would do whatever Ally told me to do, which was a lot of truly valuable information about how to live healthy and with more energy. Initially, we dropped the heavy weights that I was abusing myself with; and instead, we focused on my core and form with light weights; and we started growing my stamina and flexibility with various cardio and stretching exercises in between sets (and I am given detailed homework on our off days to this day). Within a few weeks my back pain went away and my shoulder, previously injured, started getting stronger. Fast forward to today, I’m working out with the heavy weights again, but I’m pain free, have dropped 10 pounds, and am getting compliments about my healthy strong appearance and energy on a regular basis. Most importantly, I feel great and I owe it all to Ally. Ally has expertise with weights, stretching, hydration, nutrition, cardio, yoga...and she consults regularly with her whole Equinox team about my individual needs and goals to help maximize my results and her success as a trainer. Most importantly for me however, is Ally’s infectious positive energy she brings to each work out session, which makes me jump out of bed and head to the gym at 6:00 am three times a week. Though she’s a true professional and motivator; she’s an amazing human being with very high integrity and an amazing work ethic. She’s passionate about what she does, is driven to achieve goals, is very competitive with herself and others, and inspires me to be the best I can be. At the same time she’s fun, silly, smart, caring and has a huge heart. She’s rarely without a big smile. I’m now in the best shape ever been in, can’t imagine not having a trainer, and am truly blessed to be able to spend time with Ally. Feel free to contact me for a reference.

I’ve now had the chance to work with Devon several times. My experience is that Devon is very knowledgeable about yoga and is a fine guruji. She has given me terrific instruction and her flow sequences are really original and very varied. I’ve taken a lot of yoga classes and she is really very, very good at what she does. A total pro. So if you are looking for a personal instructor who can teach you a lot, try Devon. She is the real deal.
Have been working with Sierra for years and I really appreciate the range of exercises in her programs and her ability to adapt the training program based on injuries, strained or sore muscles or anything else life throws at you that may affect your workouts. Sierra has a really well-balanced approach to fitness, so it's great knowing that I'm not just getting stronger, but also building my cardio and keeping my flexibility.
We had a group of 10 girls for a bachelorette party in Malibu! I am so happy we selected Stacey to instruct yoga on the beach!! She was incredibly quick to reply, professional and prompt! We were mostly beginners and wanted to have a casual yoga session! She was very detailed in the movements/practice but at the same time tailored the class to her audience and kept it very lighthearted. Loved her jokes ;) At the end, she provided the bachelorette with a card congratulating her on the upcoming wedding! What a thoughtful touch! Too bad she didn't live in Texas otherwise I'd def be using her more! Thank you again Stacey for such a wonderful morning!
