Introduction: I have been a professional belly dancer for about 15 years now. I started off in Ohio, under the tutelage of Aegela, a 70s vintage orientale dancer who is one of 11 foreigners to have a license to dance in Egypt. I also went to Maryland to learn Turkish belly dance and then started to teach it at our studio. I was the prime dancer that my teacher sent out for weddings, bday parties, bacholerette parties, and private lessons.
