Introduction: Mission Statement My passion is to help others see what an amazing part of life music is through technical instruction, cultivating a love for performing, and helping students realize their personal and/or professional goals. Education -Cleveland Institute of Music/The Juilliard School -Post secondary studies/private lessons -Oberlin Conservatory Bachelors of Music -Rice University, Shepherd School of Music Masters of music Accomplishments -Featured as a viola soloist with the Cleveland Orchestra in 2009 -Accepted to the Juilliard School three times with Scholarship -Also admitted with scholarship/full tuition to the Cleveland Institute of Music, -Oberlin Conservatory, Westmont, and Rice University -3.8-4.2 GPA -Performed live with Stevie Wonder -Recorded a Pepsi commercial, and was shown on TV -First-prize in many solo competitions -Extensive study with famous performers and pedagogues -Performed in Carnegie Hall twice Experiences -Faculty member at CREDO Chamber Music festival -Have been teaching violin and viola to private students for the past seven years, students ranging from 3rd grade to college level -Creative approach to solving problems -Can relate and connect well with anyone -Won jobs in the Beaumont Symphony Orchestra, Akron Symphony, and Eerie Philharmonic -Performed and sat principal in the Cleveland Orchestra viola section twice -Conducted small chamber orchestra at Oberlin -Led section rehearsals for a summer youth Orchestra -Took an intensive pedagogy class at the Oberlin Conservatory -Conducted small chamber orchestra at Oberlin -Led section rehearsals for a summer youth Orchestra Affiliations -CREDO chamber music festival -Litomysl String Master Class (Czech Republic) North American -Viola Institute -American Viola Society
