Mr. Arauz was referred to me by one of the customer reps at my bank. I was on the board of directors for the condominium's HOA and we were in great need of a tax consultant. Humberto was there for me the SAME DAY that the lady at Chase bank called him. He got in touch with me that afternoon, we made an appt. and he not only took care of us then, he has been our tax man ever since. We also use him for our personal taxes. I cannot say enough about Humberto! His professionalism and personal attention deserves a lot more than only 5 stars!! He has even come to our home to discuss tax matters with us! Who does that anymore!? I strongly recommend Humberto for the many services he has to offer. He is very knowledgeable in all areas .

QbCure helped answer and transfer the data over to the new company file successfully. Accountant was not clear of his explanations or his intention. We had a difficult time with communication because of the language differences. He spoke very broken English with a heavy accent. (it was hard for me to understand him). He told me the consultation was free, that is the only reason I was willing to take the meeting. He did not tell me when the consultation changed for being a consult to actual working for me. I never asked him to review my 2017 tax returns, he said he needed to see them to get a clearer idea of what I needed. I received an unexpected bill.

Happi Accounting Services has been extremely professional and prompt. Tax season is generally stressful for me because I have a lot of write offs that can be confusing for someone that’s not familiar with tax code. They’ve help me save my sanity, my time, and money year after year. They informed me of tax deductions I failed to utilize prior contacting them for my tax preparation. We had received a quote though Thumbtack for Broder Financial Service and I was a bit apprehensive due to the quote being so low. For the previous two years taxes I had gone with big name companies for more than twice as much and still received adjustments from the IRS for additional taxes due because for First time Buyers repayment information not being filed correctly so I decided to go with Broder. When I called for an appointment I was surprised when he set the appointment up to come to our house…so convenient. He explained that he has a day job and does taxes in the evenings and week-ends and that he was licensed by the IRS as a Tax Preparer. He also explained that by not having an office for Customers to come to he didn’t have the overhead to cover thus allowing the lower fees. We had a change in our taxes this year as we were not able to claim members of our household as dependents due to them enrolling in ”Covered California”. He figured out what out taxes would have been if we claimed them and without claiming them so we could see the difference in our taxes at no extra charge. I will definitely be using Broder Financial Services again next year!
