I am a Certified Home Inspector, Certified Mold Inspector, Home Energy Inspector and an Owens Corning Roof Data Technician. I perform a very detailed and comprehensive inspection and produce a detailed inspection report with photos. I have high ratings and reviews with 3 different services.
I also use an infrared camera in my inspections, which aids me in finding things such as overheating electrical, hidden moisture in walls and ceilings, and a lack of or missing insulation in walls and ceilings. Things you can not see with the naked eye
I enjoy discovering all aspects of a home that the home buyer never thought of, and sometimes the seller never knew.

Jimmy answered my inquiry within 10 minutes. I had a tight turn around on escrow. We had an appointment booked within 15 minutes for a couple days later. He is thorough, thorough, thorough…. He then came out again for a second property. Same story. Great booking appointment. Showed up on time and got the report back to me quickly. Finding a competent home inspector is not as easy as you think. Jimmy is the real deal. Years of experience. He walked us through the issues and then sent a thorough inspection report quickly. Highly recommend Jimmy!

We enlisted Jimmy Moore to do our inspection at Carson Harbor village. He took numerous amount of pictures and was completely thorough. He answered all of our questions. This was a mobile home inspection. Many home inspectors are not familiar with the differences of a standard home inspection and a mobile home inspection. Not only am I certified to do mobile home inspections but in the late 90's I worked for a mobile home dealership where I sold new and used mobile homes, observed mobile homes being placed in mobile home parks and on foundations on private land. I also toured a couple of mobile home manufacturing facilities in Indiana so I am also familiar with how they are built.

He was available and punctual. He wrote a comprehensive report of defects I didn’t even know existed. Without his inspection I would have bought a mobile home with thousands of dollars of repairs. In addition, this report was available the next day. I would definitely use him again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My inspection fees are right in line. Less than some, more than others. I see some home inspectors with fees starting at $175 to $200 and the only thing I can think of is they are either new in the business or are part time home inspectors and trying to get jobs. It is very important that the home buyer shops for a home inspector based on experience and not based solely on price.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified home inspector and certified in mold inspection and testing. I perform over 300 inspections a year.
Prior to being a self employed home inspector I worked for an engineering firm where I was a building inspector, public works inspector and construction managers assistant.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Worked for an Engineering Firm as an engineering technicians, public works inspector and construction managers assistant. In 2006 I started on my own as a home inspector.
