FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a discounted package deal for people who may want to hire me for both wedding ceremony and wedding cocktail hour. I create custom arrangements for all of my performances that my clients are blown away by and many claim are better than the original piece or what they had in mind. I am competitively priced for the quality of work I deliver. My studio and touring credits are a testament to what level of musicianship and professionalism I bring to my work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once I have all the details regarding the performance venue, date, and contact person, I require a non-refundable deposit (acts as a non-refundable downpayment) to secure your spot in my performance schedule (retainer)—this is a truly NON-refundable deposit. Once received, I will create a booking contract for both parties to sign. Please note any song requests you have ahead of time or else I will play from my memorized repertoire of over 2,000 songs (spanning a variety of genres, from classical to hip hop to pop to rock to EDM etc.) that I believe would best fit the event and audience.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing piano for 24 years now and was classically-trained for 10 of those years. I was the youngest person to gain a Yamaha Music Teaching Certificate (to pass their level 5 piano performance and theory exam). I also received a 5 on AP Music Theory, passed the Certificate of Merit Advanced Level Piano exam, and received a Music Minor from UC Berkeley in 2010. As a professional, I have performed with and/or done studio recording work for the likes of Bebe Rexha, Circa Survive, KSHMR, Chon, Roddy Ricch, Anthony Green, Chief Keef, Psychic Barber, Dayseeker, Naia Izumi, Alex Siegel, Alexandra Shipp, and more. My piano playing, composition, and arranging skills, have been praised by the likes of Richard Clayderman, Steinway & Sons, Pianist Magazine, Skrillex, Classical Crossover Live host Jonathan Estabrooks, MainlyPiano.com, DJ Paul KOM, and more.
