FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices vary based on current client load. Once my list starts to get full, I charge more. You can expect to pay +60 for one hour of personal training. Remember: gyms charge upwards of 45 dollars for 30 minutes of training, and hire anyone with a certificate, all the while compensating their trainers with dirt. I would never trust that trainers from a large fitness conglomerate have the experience to ensure your safety, which is absolutely number one. This is the case in the USA, where certification is conducted mostly online, and not through a university, like many other countries. I have many years of experience and multiple certifications. My prices are very reasonable for my experience and include travel costs and commuting time. I do, however, conduct beach bootcamps, which you can join for a much lower rate!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before our first session, clients will first fill out a 'fitness assessment' so that I can get a better idea of their fitness level and overall lifestyle, as it is often the case that poor lifestyle habits (food intake, sleep habits, etc.) are inhibiting them from attaining their desired fitness level. I expect that you give your all and dedicate yourself to the program; after all, you are investing your time and money into your own well being, and your health is undoubtedly the most important thing in your life. Your diet can be as regimented or lax as you like-- however, you cannot expect to see expert results without eating properly at least 80% of the time. Of course, with my extensive background in nutrition, I will help you with this. There is no magic pill, no 'diet,' no 'cleanse' that will work. Only hard work and holistic wellness will be the change in your life that keeps the weight off, and keeps you healthy FOR LIFE. During the first session, we will discuss your fitness assessment and then move on to the physical fitness assessment so that I can gage your fitness level. From there, we complete a workout based on your level, and will end with any questions you may have. This session, unlike the ones to follow, will last one hour and fifteen minutes to around one hour and a half. After our first session, I should better be able to write your fitness program. No two clients have the same fitness program, and I would distrust any trainer who gives you a 'cookie cutter' program or never discusses nutrition with you. You cannot outexercise a poor diet. Period.
