We found out that our garage wasn't working on a Saturday, as one of the cables broke. We notified ProperShop Garage Door Services around 1:30 pm. They called back right away and arranged a visit around 3:30 pm, about 2 hours later. That was amazing. He fixed our problem in 40 minutes and we were up and running, and able to get our car out of the garage to attend a social event later that evening. They were great!

I had the experience of dealing with three companies regarding our garage door over the last two days. This was one of two companies whom I've spoken with regarding my issues at hand. I will say they were under no obligation to me whatsoever as far as discussing work that I needed and ultimately had done by someone else. Eric assisted with all my questions, was honest and credible. I wish I hadn't gone with the company that I did, and had gone with ProperShop Garage Doors instead. If I'm ever in the need of service again, I'll absolutely call them without hesitation. They appear to be really genuine, good people and don't sound like they're out to take advantage of anyone or make a quick buck at someone else's expense.

Response time was excellent, Eric managed to provide options (which I look out for contractors), as well as transparency in pricing. Our double garage door spring was broken and Eric took time to answer my questions patiently and was never a 'pushy' contractor when it came to the contract price. An excellent end to a dilemma in an otherwise, eventful Monday morning when my son was late for school as he couldn't exit the garage on time. Will definitely give them a call for any repairs on my garage system. Thank you Eric.

I had an issue with broken garage door spring. Mr Eric called immediately after I submitted request thru thumbtack and came out very next day fixed the issue and reaccess all the areas needs repair and took care of them. Very honest, transparent, and don't spend time searching for there service. Mr Eric is the guy and will definitely call him again for future service.

We have a service call fee which covers the cost of the Technician coming to your house, providing a full inspection of your garage door and its components, and estimates for any work that may be needed based on that inspection. Anything beyond that would incur additional charges and would only be done with your approval.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Book appointment (typically same day or next day) 2) Technician arrives on time to your home 3) Technician presents you with findings from a thorough inspection and discusses any proposed solutions 4) Technician performs repair during the same visit (we arrive at your house with a fully stocked vehicle ready for any situation) 5) Your garage door is up and running again - this time better than before!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All Technicians complete ProperShop Service Technician Training, a comprehensive training program that ensures any Technician in the field is skilled, ethical, reliable and friendly. Additionally, we provide ongoing training to Technicians in the field to continue to refine their skills and stay informed of any new products that hit the market.
