Nicholas has been my trainer for over 3 years, he is very knowledgeable of human anatomy and exercise physiology. I have been able to decrease body fat and increase stength and endurance. Most professional and dedicated person I have ever met. I have terminated a couple of memberships with other exercise Clubs were he was working just to continue training with him. In my opinion Nicholas is the best trainer I have worked with. Thank you Nicholas!
Branden, is a very caring, likeable, down-to-earth, friendly personal trainer. As my trainer, he's so invested in your success and in motivating you to get the most out of every moment (his personal training style is infectious to the point where you don't want to disappoint him no more than you want to disappoint yourself). That's the deep, special rapport you have with him knowing he's always thinking about you and every angle of how he can help you reach your goal(s). The stronger I become the more he adds different dimensions to my workouts. Branden keeps me interested, challenged and motivated each and every workout. Branden loves what he does and he's great at it....moreover, he makes you love it, too. Branden goes above and beyond any trainer I have ever worked with in every capacity. Branden has been great about working with me on my personal goals too. He motivates me in all areas of strength, cardio, endurance and weight gain. Throughout most of my gym-haunting years, I really never thought about using a personal trainer. To me, that concept was for the rich and famous, or the serious body-builders, or the pretentious. Besides, who wanted to be saddled with the responsibility of an exact time to show up and have someone always on your case about eating right and exercising? I kept my own schedule, was reasonably active, and generally kept my weight under control, or after a high peak, got it back under control with a variety of diet plans. Then I met Eric. He was the owner of the gym I joined in Palm Springs. He is extremely personable and outgoing, and always made sure to greet everyone by name. I started watching him with clients and noticed he was very patient, trained a variety of ages, fitness levels, and attitudes and didn't fit my concept of trainer, aka drill sergeant, at all! By encouragement and compliments he motivated people to keep pushing themselves and achieve new levels of strength and fitness. Meanwhile, he'd talk to me and suggest that maybe I could benefit from a trainer. No pressure just suggestions. Eventually, I succumbed to his charms and we started working together. What a difference that has made! Although I had used many gym machines over the years, I never really knew how to systematically and most effectively work my muscles and I certainly had steered away from free weights. With Eric's expert guidance, we tackle the whole body over the course of our three workout sessions per week. Each third of the body gets a great workout each hour session, then gets the needed rest while the next third works. In this manner the workout is more intense, more effective, and much more enjoyable than just wandering around the gym doing a little of this, a little of that, and ultimately achieving little of anything. Working with Eric is one of the best things I've ever done for myself. His knowledge of muscle physiology is superb, so he knows what exercises and equipment to use to work on specific areas, or what things to avoid when there is a physical limitation/injury. His demeanor is wonderful always cheerful, generous with praise, urging me to go just a little bit more or a little bit heavier. He makes the workouts fun and the time flies past. Does he let me get away with anything? Absolutely not! He knows when the weight is too light, or the reps aren't quite enough, or the exercise is too easy, so he changes it up. But, this is not the drill sergeant approach just a friend helping a friend do good things. He doesn't make me go past what I am capable of he just helps me increase that capability. With a variety of exercises and a guide at my side, there is no boredom, no wondering what to do next, and no inclination to quit early and go home. I look forward to my workout sessions, and relish the regular schedule which has become an integral part of my life. And, now that he has his own training space at Get-Fit, training is easier without having to dodge a lot of people at a standard gym. We have also worked on diet for weight loss. Eric has given me several diets which I have (mostly) followed. The regular accountability which I initially feared turned out to be a good tool for staying on track. I lost the weight I needed to lose, taking my time so it would stay off, and now can manage it relatively easily with the regular exercise and modified diet. When I slip a few pounds, we increase the cardio portion of the workout and I'm soon back on track. I've been working with Eric for more than four years now, and my experience has been tremendous. I've become addicted to working out rather than having to force myself to go the gym. I've lost 30 pounds, dropped 2-3 sizes, developed muscles that actually show on my body (and which I love to look at!), lowered my body fat to 18.6 percent, and feel more toned and stronger than I have ever been. Not so modestly speaking, I'm in much better shape than all of my senior friends and peers. But most importantly of all, I'm happy with me and what I've achieved. Personal trainers? - a definite YES! Eric the BEST!
He is very dedicated to what he does. its not just a job. He took his time with me and was not pushy about things. The workout and training he did with me was very tailored to what I needed. He was in contact with me and checked on me throughout the week not just when we trained. I will use him again and would recommend him as well.
