I have wanted to learn French for years and I recently got an opportunity to try a free lesson with Ciao Languages. I was so impressed with Sean, the founder/coordinator, and Evelyne, the teacher, that I signed up for 20 online private lessons. Evelyne is a wonderful teacher-knowledgeable, encouraging, funny-delightful in every way. I appreciate the emails she sends which allow me to practice reading French and learn new vocabulary. I studied Spanish and Italian in the classroom but learning one on one with an online teacher is the best way to learn a language. This may sound like hyperbole, but my experience with Ciao Languages has been absolutely fantastic! Linda C.

Ciao Languages is a fabulous and fun way to learn a new language. My Italian lessons with Patrizia were at times very challenging but they were always fun and interesting. She is an A+ teacher! "Ciao Languages is the best language learning program I have used. I have been using it very successfully for over four months, and because of it, I have had dramatic breakthroughs in fluency and comprehension. It has greatly increased my ability to speak with less and less hesitation, to be more easily understood, and to better understand what is being said to me. Based on this recent progress, I believe Ciao Languages to be the most effective program of the many I have tried over the six years that I have been studying French. Its efficient combination of language tools sets the stage for the student to learn and immediately reinforce newly acquired vocabulary, grammar, and syntax with the help of a live native speaking instructor. The coordination of the course material with the on-line software also allows the student to progress on their own as quickly as they wish in between the live tutoring sessions."

• What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

  We are currently offering up to 25% in discounted on our listed prices.

• What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

  To find out the customer's needs we ask a series of questions about previous experience with the language, their reasons for studying it, and what they hope to achieve in learning it. Once this is done, we set up a trial lesson, which is free and does not oblige the student to sign up. It's just to see if the lessons are a fit. All learners are given: * The agreed upon number of LIVE teaching hours of the language * Access to Mango Languages learning application for extra practice * Access to our platform, where they can access lesson recordings, homework, classnotes and teacher slides * Assistance from our main office for tailoring the program to their needs

• What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

  Ciao Languages was founded by Sean Cook, who has had many years of experience as the manager of a language school in Italy. Sean is also an teacher trainer and is able to help the native-speaking teachers that he has on staff to become effective language instructors.
