I highly recommend GreenTree and Sidney!! Coordinating piano lessons and other artistic endeavors with Sidney was an effortlesss and pleasant task. He made it happen and initiated some remarkable lessons. GreenTree is on speed dial for our next visit to OC.
I really enjoy my violin lessons with Yohan. He brings a lot of experience and is very encouraging. He is very energetic and fun to work with.
My experience with Linda was very positive. Linda is a very patient, knowledgeable, and mild mannered teacher. She is clear and concise with direction and explains things so that my sons understood what they were doing right, what they needed to improvement on, and what the expectations were. Linda was punctual and ready at my sons lesson start times and had each of their sessions well planned out. She is dedicated to them learning piano and seeing them progress. I would not hesitate to refer her service to anyone who wants their child to learn music.
I started to take cello lessons online with this teacher and our first lesson went very well. I will continue to take lessons from this instructor. Thank you.
My son has been has been taking piano lessons for a few years. The instructors are amazing. I highly recommend US Music Lessons.
My two (2) kids go to this school for Piano Lessons. It's a great school with teachers who care and they even got (ONE) of my kids to actually play correctly and she now likes playing the piano. They are strict but have real concern for the students and offer a great environment to excel. I would recommend Donna Lee and her Music School anytime. A+++++++
Gina is a wonderful violin teacher! She is patient and kind and works at my pace; however, she pushes me past what I think are my limits. I was afraid that taking up the violin as an adult would be overwhelming, but Gina has made the whole learning process a joy! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring teacher with attention to detail.
My son has been taking piano lessons here for about two months now and he loves it so much! These people are so enthusiastic about music and sharing it with these little souls.
I have recently started to take violin lessons with Ms. Zabenova. She is knowledgeable, patient and observant. Ms. Zabenova is able to see my strengths and weaknesses. Her teaching style is clear and flexible. I am looking forward to working with her and making progress.
Wonderful with my daughter, she loves her violin lessons
Lenny Graf was very patient and took the time to let my kids learn at their own pace, he definitely realized very early that they were at two different levels, very patient and experienced working with kids, they look forward to their lessons every week ! Great for kids of all ages .
My name is Tuan Hoang . In 2003 I was looking for a violin teacher and I was 21 year old that time. I found miss Cynthia studio located in Irvine and decided to meet her in person and ready for my violin lessons which I am dreaming studying violin since I was little ( I moved to the United States in 2001 ) my English at that time was very poor in speaking and listening I did afraid how we gonna communicate and study my violin lessons. Fortunately,ms Cynthia was and still be my mentor my inspiration and always showing her great ability and talent to work with adult student like me. I am saying here about her experiences not only working with students from toddler up to teenage. She is very knowledgeable to work with adult students like me as an example. I was studying violin with ms Cynthia for 4 years and finished book 4 Suzuki method. That was my incredible achievement that I never thought I would get from anywhere other than ms Cynthia studio and her teaching. I am currently working and playing violin on the side for my local churches and some special events during the year. I was helping ms Cynthia teaching violin for young students at occtac in Santa Ana for couple seasons. If you are very interested how to play a violin doesn't matter what age you are ( it's never late to start to working on anything you love ) please don't hesitate to contact ms Cynthia about her passionate teaching and assisting you 😘 thank you ms Cynthia for being such a wonderful violin teacher. If you have any questions about how I witnessed my experience with ms Cynthia studio and her teaching. Please feel free to email me at email@example.com . I would love to give her 5 stars on this review.
Carmen is a very good and competent teacher. She works with your schedule and effectively demonstrates violin techniques.
She is very good at teaching and communicating with students. Definitely recommend her to my friends.
So far, so good! Kids are loving their lessons in guitar and piano. They love Annette!
My students receive a music education that is tailored to fit their needs as a student. Unlike many teachers who teach all students with one method, I am interested in what the student wants to pursue and why they enjoy music. My students will not only study classical piano or violin, but will learn music theory, develop ear training skills and improvisational skills, and learn to play with a beautiful sound from the very beginning. Students will be encouraged to listen to and play music that they love. Seeing the progress of students as they develop, and getting to experience their excitement and love for music makes my job a continual joy. I love the unique experience of every student and how no two lessons are ever the same.
I offer music lessons for guitar and piano and in English and Spanish. I do different styles for different levels and for fun or to make a career.
While I love performing, my true passion lies in teaching violin I have been trained in violin pedagogy through a program offered at Biola University. I specifically love working with children. In my past experience with teaching children, I have had the privilege of seeing their simple joy and eagerness. I believe that children can best thrive and learn if their learning styles are catered to and if they are loved. One of my goals as a teacher is to discover how I can best help the student learn. Is the student a visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learner? Does the student better understand the technical concepts if I use helpful analogies? My greatest goal as a teacher is to love my students. Originally, Suzuki initiated his violin teaching program not for the purposes of raising musical prodigies (which incidentally ended up happening), but for the purposes of nurturing children into noble souls who eagerly engaged in the pursuit of goodness, beauty, and truth. I believe that since goodness, beauty, and truth are inherent in music; it has the potential to transform someone's life. However, without the catalyst of love, music can be rendered to a mere means of selfish gain. I believe that it is through the unconditional love that parents and teachers offer their kids/students, regardless of their skill, that the students begin to explore the beauty of music. As far as my teaching methods are concerned, I prefer using the Suzuki method to teach beginners. The Suzuki method is a highly esteemed violin pedagogy method that allows students to play pieces by ear (as opposed to reading music). I believe that the Suzuki method allows the beginner students to concentrate on technical concepts and ear training skills without the added complication of learning how to read notes. About half way through book 2 (out of the 10 suzuki books), I like to introduce the student to note reading with supplemental sight-reading, rhythm, and etude books. While there are 10 suzuki books, I will only teach up to book 5. After that point, I like to choose pieces that will best suite the student's technical needs. I also like to supplement the Suzuki books with additional positioning and scale books. About me: I have been studying the violin since the age of 5. I have studied at the Colburn school of music in Los Angeles with Dr. Chan Ho Yun and I currently study with Elizabeth Larson at Biola University (Violin Performance Major). My achievements include: soloing with the Loma Linda Academy Chamber Orchestra, leading the Biola String Quartet, performing in a masterclass taught by the world renowned Menahem Pressler (Beaux Arts Trio), and performing with the Biola Symphony Orchestra as assistant concertmaster.
I provide a fun and safe learning environment. I work with the individual to make them meet their goals no matter how demanding. If you want to tackle that song that you love and become better on your instrument, I will be there for you pushing you in the exact direction that you need to go because I've been there. If you want to learn more about how to read and write music, I can help you make those symbols come to life and sound beautiful. The curriculum I will provide will have you feeling ready to perform.
I started Walker Music Lessons as a way to share my love of music with the next generation of hungry musicians. Since learning the Piano as a child, I understand the role music played in my early childhood and formative years, and I would like to share that with your child. Currently, I am versed in quite a few instruments and currently, my brother and I, teach the Violin, Guitar, and Piano. I have a private music studio in which to give instruction, but I am more than willing to drive to your location. The studio is also available to rent out. Thank you for reading, I can’t wait to get started.
I'm teaching piano lessons, from classical to impromptu level. I'm free on weekdays and weekends. I have MFA degree in sound design and 10 years of piano experience.
