- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes! Every year I go through training at my regular job as a custodian to keep up with the new cleaning supplies and machinery.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always liked cleaning. I got a job as a custodian at a school district and liked it so much that I decided to start cleaning houses on the side because people at work were always commenting on how nice it looks and smells, and they can tell when I'm out because the subs that cover for me don't clean like I do!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Clean whole kitchen, dining and living area, change linen on beds and put to wash and put clean ones on, clean bathrooms, clean glass and mirrors, sweep, mop, and vacuum.
