Don was amazing! She was great with about 20 rambunctious children, she satisfied their imaginative desires, and had coloring books as parting gifts for them! She is now our go to person for face painting at parties! Book her now!

Details: 11 - 20 guests • Younger than 4 years old • 4 - 6 years old • Birthday party

Don was great! Really impressed with her work and all of the kids (and some parents too!) loved their face (and arm) paintings. Would definitely recommend her and hope to hire her again at the next one!

Donneka provided face painting at our VFW Post Easter Egg Hunt for kids. The parents and kids loved her work and she stayed until the last kid had their face painted. I highly recommend Donneka to anyone looking for something special at their kid's event.

Everything from her setup to her energy was absolutely wonderful for my daughters 7th bday party. The face painting was impressive and so detailed. The kids absolutely loved it. My friends who attended wanted her information for their kids parties. She was patient with each child and made sure each one was satisfied. I would absolutely hire her over and over again and highly recommend her.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I'm mostly self taught, but do attend classes that are hosted by local artists.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I accidentally stumbled upon the idea. I'd been watching YouTube videos about investing, when one of the YouTubers started discussing various part-time/weekend jobs to quickly boost your savings. As soon as face painting was mentioned, saving and investing just seemed like secondary benefits of an awesome opportunity. I stopped the video and began researching the idea. I've been drawing and painting for decades, but the idea of face painting never even remotely crossed my mind. I didn't have to give it a second thought. It's a combination of two things that I love, working with children and painting.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Fortunately, my very first gig was a community festival. Successfully working that gig (which seemed like a pure miracle at the time) made me aware of my capabilities as a lone face painter. I've painted for corporate events, camps, community festivals, non-profits/churches, and plenty of birthday parties. To my surprise, the most common has been churches/camps, typically ranging from 25-50 children/teens.
