I started with Brenda's group lessons as a bucket list item. I'd always wanted to sing onstage but never really knew how to go about being trained. I very much enjoy my time with Brenda and the other students. I've made new friends and brought another friend in to join us. I've been involved in several showcases now, as we do one at the end of each session. I have also started going regularly to local open mike shows where I sing in front of an audience. I have much more confidence in my singing and am willing to try things out in front of friends and strangers without too much anxiety. Even if I flop, and that has happened, I go back, work it out and try it again. I would never have dared to do something like that before I started with Brenda.

Great vocal exercises to warm me up + since Brenda plays piano so well and has such a great ear for interpretation I got to nail down not only the music but the intention from an acting p.o.v.
