About
I'm a guitar player and vocalist. I like to play jazz standards (think Carmen Mcrae, Mose Allison, Mel Torme), bossa nova (think Jobim, Astrud Gilberto, Elise Regina) and quirky covers (think Dusty Springfield, Dean Martin, Mac Davis). I usually play solo but also enjoy playing with an upright bass player.

Elkins connects w/ the audience, he tells stories w/ his songs and humor in between. Very entertaining, would definitely go to see him perform again.

Craig is a top-tier musician. Their Bossa Nova sets were authentic and rhythmically tight, creating that effortless, breezy atmosphere that only a true pro can pull off. When they transitioned into Jazz Standards, their phrasing and tone were impeccable. What really impressed me, though, was their creative arrangements of "quirky" covers—they took obscure songs and reimagined them in a way that was unexpected, fun, and totally engaging for the audience.
