Dare To Love are a powerhouse couple! I have seen Dare To Love perform at different weddings and private events around Los Angeles. Lovisa has a beautiful voice and is always engaging with the guests. Derrick is such a fun dude lighting up the room, whether he's playing 2 saxophones at once or doing the worm in the middle of the dance floor! Both are extremely talented musicians and I feel like their love for each other is something special that radiates into all their performances and is hard to find. Derrick and Lovisa are amazing humans beings and it was a pleasure meeting them!

We couldn’t have asked for better music for our daughter’s engagement party. They kept the energy flowing all night, and Derek playing piano at the beginning while guests were arriving was such a beautiful touch. His saxophone serenades throughout the evening were unforgettable, and Lovisa has an absolutely stunning voice. Our rate varies depending on the service (soloist, duo, trio or full band). We currently offer a 15% discount on all our services!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to connect over a call to discuss the event details and expectations for the event for us to costumize it to fit your needs and vision with regards to number of musicians, type of sound equipment and stage lights required, preferred music style/genre and song requests.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Derrick studied Jazz Saxophone with a piano minor at the University of Miami as well as Johannes Gutenberg University in Germany. Lovisa has a bachelor in Music Production from Stockholm's Royal College of Music as well as an performing artist degree.
