FAQs
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
W. is a client who had recently gotten his Bachelors from a local business school. He's passionate about investment, having grown up in a family where several people work in related fields. Unfortunately, he was a little passive going through college; his grades were good but not great, and he had done little by way of internships. It was a delicate process to put together his resume in a way that highlighted his positive aspects and experience. I'm especially proud of the cover letter we created, which evoked his passion, knowledge of the field, and genuine curiosity about all the elements that make up a successful investor. RESULT: he received multiple interviews (several for positions that were technically above his level), and was offered several positions. Proud to say he ended up at Bank of America, where he is truly thriving.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Trust your instincts. If someone feels like a strong connection (even if you can't clearly articulate why initially) it's probably worth a first meeting. The converse holds just as true, of course: if a little voice says "steer clear", LISTEN.
