FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be specific, even if it is just that you want to relax. The more I personally know about a client, the more I am able to address their concerns. If a client has particularly painful sciatica or another issue that continually flares up, it's helpful to know in advance so I can plan an appropriate treatment beforehand. Low back problems? I want to know so I can effectively plan and maximize the session. I'm in the profession of healing and if there are techniques I don't often use that would benefit a client, letting me know what to anticipate will allow me to refresh application of those techniques.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It's not all adult entertainment even if still technically classified as so, contrary to advertisements and insinuations massage is most often sexual or sensual in nature. I do chair and table massages, and chair massages occur fully clothed in a public venue. I never touch any areas that are off limits and I obtain consent for any areas that may be questionable for certain clients because I don't want to surprise anyone. I'm not offended by being called a masseuse because I don't personally feel there are negative connotations associated with the word. I'm a healer and I seek strength in knowing what I can do for someone, not what other people may or may not refer to me as.
